Mesmerising, breath-taking, amazing, awesome - just some of the words our visitors use when they talk about RSPB Bempton Cliffs. Around a quarter-of-a-million seabirds - including gannets, puffins, kittiwakes and razorbills - flock here in spring and summer to raise their family. Six, cliff top viewpoints give spectacular views of the nesting seabirds and the dramatic coastline. The new seabird centre at the heart of the reserve tells the story of the wildlife on the cliffs and why it makes it home here. In autumn and winter, when mists fall and winds blow, a clifftop walk can be a truly experience. RSPB Bempton Cliffs - one of the truly unmissable British wildlife spectacles.

Made a special trip up from Sheffield for the weekend to visit this place as gannets are my favourite birds. You will not be disappointed. As I am an RSPB member it was free for both myself and partner to get in, so a bargain trip really. What struck me about this venue was that I have never heard so... More

We would not normally visit some where like this. But would highly recommend it. A brand new visitors centre and great value for money. The children's activities rack sack is a great idea. We saw nesting puffin on our visit. Amazing how many birds were nesting.

We visited Bempton twice over the Bank Holiday weekend & both times took part in photography events organised by the RSPB and run by Steve Race who is an award winning photographer and all round nice guy. The "Through the Lens" event for children to do a wildife photography walk is brilliant and a great way to introduce your children... More

Get on the guided walks as these guys spot something and have their scopes on straight away. Great venue to visit especially since the new visitor centre. My only criticism is that the catering area isn't big enough especially if you've done the walk to Flamborough Head and back! The place is just great.

My title is "in my humble opinion", but I just love this site and now there is a very well appointed visitor centre it's even better. We had glorious sunshine which always helps, saw lots of all the usual suspects, probably a dozen puffins and were even treated to a barn owl swooping and hunting for a couple of hours... More

First visit for us and we weren't disappointed. It was a fabulous day out. We were there about 5 hours and could have stayed longer. Well sign posted. Very good parking. RSPB staff all very well informed and helpful. They have very good on site facilities. Toilets clean and tidy and a nice snackette area and shop. There are two... More

Excellent RSPB volunteers on hand. Saw most of the expected birds, including puffins. Did additional walking along cliff top.

An incredible place to go for a day or 2. The amount of birds there is amazing it's fascinating seeing them swooping around in such numbers rushing out to see and back to fish. We were very disappointed at the lack of puffins despite hearing it is the UK's largest puffin colony - perhaps they meant somewhere else or else... More

Excellent for birding and for families to just get a taster too. Gannets, guillemots, razor bills, puffins, barn owl, tree sparrows, and more
