Mesmerising, breath-taking, amazing, awesome - just some of the words our visitors use when they talk about RSPB Bempton Cliffs. Around a quarter-of-a-million seabirds - including gannets, puffins, kittiwakes and razorbills - flock here in spring and summer to raise their family. Six, cliff top viewpoints give spectacular views of the nesting seabirds and the dramatic coastline. The new seabird centre at the heart of the reserve tells the story of the wildlife on the cliffs and why it makes it home here. In autumn and winter, when mists fall and winds blow, a clifftop walk can be a truly experience. RSPB Bempton Cliffs - one of the truly unmissable British wildlife spectacles.

We were amazed by the sheer noise and smell of the cliff top paths not to mention the breath taking scenery and fabulous sights of thousands of seabirds. I can't believe it took us so long to visit this part of England its that good we won't be long before we come back. We picked a virtually wind free day... More

A really welcoming place. We were given a map on arrival and a brief summary of things to do. Plenty of fresh food to choose from for lunch. Then a really accessible walk across the tops- brilliant access for all people. Plenty of wildlife to see and the staff wear all really knowledgeable. A scope was set up so we... More

Since settling in Filey I have visited the RSPB centre at Bempton on many occasions. It is my favourite place to go. Stunning scenery, great visitor's centre and exciting bird life. I have learnt so much since becoming an RSPB member that I want to get involved more in the protection and conservation of our wild life as so much... More

Really spectacular place to visit. We saw lots of gannets (and smelled them!!!). Nice place for picnics in the nature trail. Didn't give full star rating as staff did not explain what was available for children and the toilets were smelly.

We Really enjoyed our visit to Bempton Cliffs. It was very easy to find and the new RSPB Centre, that has not long been built had everything you would need. We hired Binoculars from the Reception desk and off we went exploring.. We followed a map given to us at reception, on how to have the best experience. We found... More

Although I've visited the area before, this is the first time I visited the bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs. It's a beautiful location and a lovely walk along the coast, with lots of birds to enjoy watching. Even my Mum, who isn't a huge fan of birds generally, really enjoyed it. There were staff at each of the main 'look... More

Brilliant! Too late for Puffins but lots of other birds to see and bugs to find on the nature trails. Amazing scenery and views. Good shop and very nice and friendly staff. Well worth visiting and you're helping nature too!

Best to go in June so you do not miss the Puffins but even in August the Gannets are still on their nests and fantastic.

Great view of the cliffs - a pity that we missed the puffins (from mid-April to July), but we could see plenty of gannets and a few fulmers. When we got to the RSPB center (plenty of parking spaces) we were greeted by some volunteers, who gave us a map of the routes and informed us about the best places... More
