Went to see the puffins, unfortunately we were nearly too late. There were a few puffins still clinging to the cliff face and they were so sweet. Of course there were thousands of other seabirds, awesome!! the views from the clifftops were fabulous. If you have limited mobility some of the paths are challenging. The RSPB staff on the cliffs... What a magical place this is! We discovered it by chance and it is quite amazing. Impossible to list all species of bird here but the puffins were adorable and the views and atmosphere wonderful. Warning to parents with prams / buggies and wheelchair users - not very accessible really and would definitely pose problems for you. However, magnificent place... More

We spent a full day at RSPB Bempton Cliffs on 11/7/14. Admission is by paying £5.00 car park or free for RSPB members if you display your membership card in the car. There is quite a lot of walking to do and not all is wheelchair accessible, maybe for one of those tramper type but not an ordinary buggy. If... More

We enjoyed the walk along the cliffs, spotting different birds and just enjoying the atmosphere, but we found the staff/volunteers rather bossy and intrusive. Our initial welcome was being asked if we had paid for entry. What?! There is no charge for entry. There are charges for parking and some activities, but as we were doing neither, having walked from... More

We are full of apologies. There is definitely no entry charge to the reserve and we are delighted to welcome those who have come on foot or by bicycle - for which there is no parking charge either. In fact, we would positively encourage visitors to arrive this way as part of our environmental policy. We have spoken with the... More

An outstanding natural seabird sanctuary. The RSPB staff are very helpful zooming in on the various nesting birds using their remote cameras whilst the sheer number of nesting birds on the cliff faces and the constant flurry of birds leaving to return with food for the baby birds makes the visit well worth while.

Wonderful views of the cliffs, ocean and the birds. Nice walking trails. They also have a small store and snack bar at the entrance.

The perfect place to walk your dog (on a lead of course) and see a fantastic variety of seabirds. We went in June to see the puffins but we also had the bonus of the guillemots, razor bills, kittiwakes, gulls and of course the majestic gannets. Many birds also had young which was a bonus. A number of viewing platforms... More

Fab place to see an array of seabirds. Viewing platforms allow you to see the birds nesting on the cliffs in a non-intrusive way. Definitely take your binoculars otherwise they will all just look like seagulls from a distance. I visited with 2 friends and a dog today and we saw lots of chick's in the nests - very sweet....
