Always a joy to spend time on the beach at calahonda Listening to the sea in a gorgeous sun trap and never does it feel busy or over run Really clean and well maintained too and the new boardwalk they are building from la Luna all the way along will be a welcome addition

The beach is OK, but beware of this restaurant "Luna Beach". The service is terrible, the "food" too. But that's not the worst. We were there in August 2013, and when I paid our meal with a 50€ bill - four people from the staff came back with "my bill". They told me it was fake. It was a fake... More

Not so nice beach. Very close to this beach there are Luna beach and Cabopino beaches that have services like bathrooms, restaurants, sunbeds, showers and very nice sand. Calahonda beach has nothing, only a narrow beach with stones and seaweeds. There is also some kind of "creek" that brings water from Calahonda to the beach. This would be the last... More

Playa de Calahonda is a convenient place to stay !2km from Marbella and approximately 40km Malaga and inbetween you have Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Mijas a beautiful interesting white village up in the hills. On the other side of Calahonda is Marbella, Pourto Banus, Ronda another fantastic village up in the hills (not to be missed) well worth the effort... More

This establishment has been there for 12 years at least but has recently had a make over. Approached by car from near the Los Cypress Commercial Centre, there is now a pathway down from the N340 to the beach. The chiringuito has been upgraded inside and on the day we chose to eat there it was very well patronised and... More

Enjoyed a couple of lovely days here with my husband, visiting parents. Lovely clean beach, great selection of places to eat and drink, nice relaxed feel to the whole place.

Cabopino beach is good in that it is not backed by large developments, has a huge car park within a few minutes walk and plenty of loungers to rent. Also nearby Andy's beach bar also rents out various activities. We took out a pedalo with slide, good fun as currents not strong. Beach did lack somewhat in atmosphere but we... More
