Beautiful and quiet beach for sunbathing and swimming in clear water. There is also a nice place near to have lunch..

At last, the approach ways to the beach are being cleaned up, tidied and made presentable - and not before time! The beach itself is quite small but it is well-maintained. The new boardwalk, stretching all the way from La Cala, is nearing completion at Calahonda and, I believe, it will continue on towards Cabopino in the near future. This... More

Not really a patch on the nearby beach at Cabopino. However , much improved by the opening of La Luna Beach Bar run by the owners of Andy's Beach Bar which is only a 10 minute walk along the beach away. Calahonda beach needs more facilities and a lot of TLC . For an urbanisation the size of Calahonda the... More

This has been transformed from a run down and quite sad place to a modern thriving attraction with the chiringuito completely rebuilt virtually, and also now with live entertainment too, since the owners of Andy's bar from the adjacent resort of Cabopino took it over. Also the local Mijas council are in the last throws of completing a disabled friendly... More

If you're ever in Calahonda & have car trouble, try Chris & Kirsty at Calahonda Cars. I had a couple of items stolen off my hire car & they moved heaven & earth to find the parts for me. They kept in touch regularly to keep me fully updated on how things were progressing which made something that could have... More

Right outside our resort, a perfectly manicured beach, graded and "combed" every day. The sun bed concession was extremely well managed and really good value at 5 euros per person with good shower and toilet facilities. Well serviced by the Luna Beach restaurant.

Always a joy to spend time on the beach at calahonda Listening to the sea in a gorgeous sun trap and never does it feel busy or over run Really clean and well maintained too and the new boardwalk they are building from la Luna all the way along will be a welcome addition
