i have fished Rodgers for the past twelve years. We had another great trip in 2014. We limited on King salmon that ranged between 20 and 30 pounds. We also caught numerous silvers, halibut, ling cod and yellow eye. The food and accomidations were great. My buddies and I are already looking forward to our 2015 visit in August. Marc... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We agree our area offers some incredible fishing opportunities and it always amazes me how light the fishing pressure is even in late July and through August. On a busy day you may see 30 to 40 boats in our area and most of them are from our Lodge. It... More

Thanks very much for your thoughtful review. When you said that "The day I leave is the day that I want to return. " I think that this is how many of our guests feel when they leave our place and head for home. Many folks tell us that they feel like they have been transported in a time capsule,... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. For many years Alaska was the in place to go fishing. The feedback that we are hearing lately, is that because the regulations in Alaska keep changing and limits keep being reduced, many folks are feeling that the value isn't there anymore. We are indeed very lucky to have such... More

Doug and Pam treat us like family, the cabins are cozy and functional, the guides knowledgeable and on top of their game. Rodgers Fishing Lodge is well located with many varieties of salmon available throughout the... More

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. You are right when you say that it is all about the fishing. Our guest's come primarily for the fantastic fishing and everything else takes a back seat to the excellent fishing opportunities that our area offers. We are blessed to have a world class fishery right at our front doorstep... More

I recently returned from my 10th trip to Rodger's Lodge. We like it so well that we have rebooked for 2015 and are considering booking a second trip later in the year.I have fished all the hot spots on the coast, as far north as Prince Rupert, and I can say that there is no place I enjoy fishing more... Thank you for your review. We do in fact get a lot of guests that arrive at our Lodge as semi-serious fisherman and who leave our Lodge as serious fisherman who cannot wait to come back. Looking forward to seeing you again in 2015. More

This lodge should not have advertised its "Tuna Packages" the way they did. While stating that they "are going to designate two fully rigged 28' to 30' boats...for this exciting fishery" these boats were nowhere in sight. In fact, given the size of the actual boats used, to actually fish for tuna from this lodge everything had to be perfect... More

Thank you for your review. As this was our first full season fishing for Tuna there were certainly some important lessons to be learned. We have a fleet of 20 boats and we have 6 boats in the 27' to 30' range that are perfectly suited to fish Tuna. You are correct when you say that the weather and water... More

I have fished at many resorts up and down the BC coast for 30 years. For the last 7 only Rodgers because I want to catch fish.. Best case you might limit out in 2 hours but worst case all day.. But you will catch your limit every day. Also the price is right
