Fishing trip review number 2, and coincidentally the 2nd sport fishing trip I've ever done. However, I was not quite so stunned this time as I was the last time, as now knew what to expect from fishing trips...and those expectations were met and exceeded. Just getting there was awesome, so long as you enjoy the wilderness (and if you... More

Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review. The logistics involved in running a remote fishing camp are challenging to say the least. We have finally seen some rain after 9 weeks of experiencing mid August type weather. To have water shortages at this time of the season is unheard of in these parts as we... More

We had the best time ever fishing with Captain Wayne, out of "Rodgers Fishing Lodge". He was kind, patient and very skilled at what he did. Everywhere he brought us to, and told us what we would target, resulted in getting our limits. We thoroughly enjoyed our entire time at the lodge. Everyone at the camp exhibited the same thoughtfulness... More

Florida is about as far away as you can get from our Lodge. Thank you for making the effort to come all that way to do some fishing with us and we are delighted that you enjoyed your adventure. The fishing that we offer seems to be a well kept secret as witnessed by the total lack of fishing pressure.... More

I have been to Rodgers Fishing Lodge twice, once in late July and this spring in May. Both times I had a great experience. Both guides knew their stuff, were easy to work with and learn from, and encouraged our desires above their own. In both cases we found the fish we wanted to catch, and even when it was... More

Thanks for your kind words and it was nice to have you back fishing with us again. We have many guests that have fished in Alaska and they tell us that they prefer fishing at Rodgers. We are fortunate to be blessed with a fishery that is World Class and that is right at our doorstep. Looking forward to seeing... More

The trip was great. It was the beginning of the season and we set our expectations low for fishing. We were surprised to find pretty good fishing for May. Our guide worked hard to put us on the fishing. He pulled it off on the last day by putting us on 52lb halibut to end our trip. The staff and... More

A big thank you goes out the the Staff of Rodgers Fishing Lodge! As a group of 4, we came to catch fish and primarily target halibut and lung cod. The salmon tend to arrive in numbers later in the summer. We had a great time fishing! The fish were biting, the weather was great for the most part and... More

Thanks for your kind review. Your party on May 3rd was our first party of the season and I was pleased to hear that you had good fishing and beautiful weather. We have an excellent year round fishery for Halibut, Ling Cod and Red Snapper which you were able to experience. The salmon started to show up in good numbers... More

My husband, my 10 year old daughter and myself visited Rodgers Fishing Lodge May 24-28, 2015. First off the flight in was amazing we had the best pilot and he made this very nervous Mama relaxed enough to enjoy the beautiful scenery on the way there. Once we arrived at the lodge we found our room, which was comfortable. It... More

My sons & I booked a Tuna combo trip late last August. Spectacular fishing; we boated 33 tuna and limited on halibut plus numerous cod & salmon. We saw whales, sea lions, eagles and black bears. I can't say enough about the friendly people associated with this lodge. Our guide Jeremy was all about fishing. Rooms were clean and the... More

Rodges fishing lodge provides a wonderful fishing experience. The location of Rodgers provides some of the most diverse fishing opportunities in the area. The lodging is comfortable and the food is great. I have never been dissapointed with the fishing. I have returned each year since 2007. It's a great Pacific NW experience. Doug N.
