Banjosa lake is an extremely beautiful place like one can easily say it a heaven on earth. its in the center of thick jungle.boating in the lake is enjoyable. horse riding in the mountains is a plus. few local restaurants with good food and wash rooms are available. its better to take your food with you. there are also guest... Great place to visit. Pakistan is a beautiful country. Visited with my mates, it is awesome. The view the freshness, beauty lies in azad kashmir Pakistan.

Great family day out, Great value for money , Please drive carefully as the roads ain't the best . Beautiful landscape , view and great friendly people. Must visit to see the beauty of Kashmir

I went to this beautiful place to see the lake...lake is surrounded by trees n their reflection in the water is just marvellous...road is a bit rough one n not well built...one thing whenever u plan to go there,just be sure u make a hotel reservation before leaving because its hard to get rooms on arrival

Visited the place on 30th August 2014. It's about 19 Km from Main Rawalakot (Baldia Adda). But travel time is at least one hour due deteriorated road conditions. There are patches in between which are completely torn off and contain gravel and sharp pointed stones/rocks. So beware of these. Lake itself is quite muddy and has brownish water. I did enjoy 4 hour drive to this place as passing under shades of high trees mountains. water was muddy with no fun on taking pictures although surroundings were nice with tall green trees, good sunshine, and mountains view..... food at local restaurant is highly... Nice place having calm atmosphere. We (Two families, 09 people) visited in Nov 13 for a single night stay. Although it was very cold from sunset to sunrise but we enjoyed a lot. April to September is comfortable time for Banjosa. Toli peer, one hour drive from there, is also a worth visiting place. Hotels are average but goes fine... More

It is situated at a distance of 19 km from rawalakot city. It is located in tehsil Hajira, district Poonch (AK).It is a planned tourist area. Banjosa is a beautiful lake surrounded by green mountains offering an awesome view to tourists. A few rest houses are constructed in surroundings of lake.
