My first go at kayaking. Dean was very helpful and explained paddle use, steering and balance fully before we got out into the creek. Two hours was a good amount of time on the water (we did the twilight tour). Dean's knowledge of local wildlife and birds was fantastic, and added a lot to the trip. You've got a choice... More

We booked the twilight tour and spent about 2 hours on the water. Dean was an excellent tour guide and our time was very relaxed. He followed our pace and there were lots of opportunities to just sit and listen to the sounds of nature. We thought this was pretty good value for money and it was a lovely way... More

We kayaked with a family of 4 (two teenagers). The kayaks were easy to manoeuvre and our hosts let us set the pace and were friendly and knowledgable. We saw a prolific amount of bird life, a beautiful coastal carpet python and the wake of a large stingray. Great exercise and interesting adventure. The only sad thing is that urbanisation... More

We had a wonderful morning (8.30am start) with Dean, and just loved every minute. His kayaks are custom built (by him) and so stable & easy to use. I loved skimming over the sandbars, exploring (and learning about) Bribie Island, and the depth & breadth of information provided. This tour will work both for novices and those with kayak experience... More

I did the twilight tour from 3:30 to about 6pm. Dean, who has more knowledge about birds of the area than I thought existed, took myself and my two children aged 13 and 11 out for a great tour down Bells Creek. Wonderfully peaceful, learned lots about the local wildlife and habitats, and had no problem with the really top-quality... More

Just did the morning hire but this spot is heaven the current in the water ways is strong so it helps if you can or have kayaked before if the weather is good and the wind low then it's great

I joined a group tour for the morning in August and reall enjoyed my first kayaking experience. I was really impressed by Dean's knowledge and stories of the area. It was great to see such an abundance of wildlife, from birds to stingrays. Refreshments were provided at the halfway point when we got off the water and onto Bribie Island.... More

We did the morning 4 hour tour with Dean and it was a morning I would highly recommend to tourists & locals. Apart from the weather being incredible, it was a different way to get around & see how beautiful the area is. Dean was awesome - very calm & patient & clearly an experienced instructor. For all ages &... More

Had a beautiful morning tour seeing a side of Bribie Island we never knew existed. The kayaks are high quality so its an easy, peaceful paddle and our guide made sure we didn't miss any of the wildlife - pelicans, black swans, stingrays, eagles. This tip of Bribie is only accessible by boat so the beaches are a gorgeous white... More
