Having noticed an ad it the Frome Annual that Id picked up at The Mill at Rode the day before, I planned this visit on my journey home. And so glad I did. If you were to travel from the centre of Bath, you can do it in about 30 minutes or a little more...would make a lovely few hours... More

We visited on a sunny day in June and it was an oasis of tranquillity. A beautiful garden and a delightful lunch. I will remember this for a long time and hope to return.

We cycled from Bristol to Mells on a hot Sunday. You can come dressed in lycra, you can bring your bikes in and lean them against the wall. It is very safe. The staff is super friendly and the guy who owns the place is very helpful. The place is magical, the gardens are just surreal. So much love went... More

I'd read about the Walled Garden in a magazine and had been desperate to visit for a while, despite it being around an hour away by car from me. I finally got a chance this weekend when I took my Mum (a fellow flower lover) for her birthday. As some of the other reviews have said, it really is like... More

How we have managed to live for 20 years within 20 miles of Mells and yet only now discover the (completely free) Secret Garden is a mystery! We went with German garden-loving friends, and we were all enchanted by this beautiful garden with its eclectic variety of stunning flowers, all lovingly tended, and gorgeous views. The café itself was rather... More

A wonderful bonus across the road to the Talbot Inn. A garden scene that it is difficult to find these days. Looking like a traditional cottage garden with many species of plants of a yesteryear. Peaceful and tranquil with a plant shop and small tea shop.

Beautiful gardens with the facility to buy the plants. Lots of tables and chairs and little hide away areas in the gardens to have lunch or afternoon tea. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and the homemade cakes are so delicious.

This is such a lovely, hidden spot. Beautiful gardens and views, seats dotted around as well as an area with seats under trees and a trellissed shelter. The pizzas are fab. Garden plants for sale too, as well as unusual garden ornaments. The great thing is that entrance is free, you can walk around and browse with no pressure at... More
