A real find. Beautiful walled gardens with fantastic views over the country side. We often go on a Saturday morning after the dog walk for excellent coffee, toast, sunshine and peace. Dogs are welcome and you can engage in as much conversation as you wish to. There is a great range of plants for sale and a quaint greenhouse groaning... More

Me and my wife visited a couple of months ago after getting a bit lost in the Mendip area, and I have to say it was a very happy accident. Lovely staff, could not have been more friendly and accommodating, and the pizza we had was better than what we've had in Italy! Beautiful garden, though sad to say we... More

Lovely little areas of interest within the garden. Areas of interest include the 'cutting garden', the courtyard cafe, the pizzeria and the flower shop

Always a friendly welcome; gorgeous beverages and cakes. Pizza is delicious from wood fired, outdoor oven at weekends. But best of all the garden and views from the terrace. Not an easy place for those who have difficulties with mobility-but not impossible-maybe best to ring before a visit and check requirements. Outdoor seats/tables mainly but you can shelter under the... More

Visited the Walled Garden in October with two friends and enjoyed our wander through it. Kind of quirky in a very English way. Set in one of the most historic and picturesque villages in Somerset (Asquiths, Sassoon, Knox, Bonham-Carters).

Great place for tea and lunch and amazing for a party. Gather in the greenhouse, enjoy pizza straight from the pizza oven and chat under the trees - great place.

Well I mean there's just an embarrassment of riches here really. Beautiful gardens, afternoon tea on hay bales and at tables under awnings and trees. plants for sale. Bric a brac also for sale. Good homemade cakes and fabulous pizzas from the outdoor wood fired oven. It's just a delightful thing all around and one of those places where you... More

Garden not at its best in October, but who's is? Very friendly people who could not be more helpful. Owner found information on sculptures. Gardener spent time talking to us and explained the Slow Worm likes to a snake. Waitress very friendly. Food was very good. Next time Pizza. We will return.

I've been here a few times now. The tea and cake is great. The Pizza fantastico. Loved it so much that I got them to do pizzas for my wedding in the evening. The florist there did my wedding flowers, they were everything i wanted and more, they are very talented bunch.

This is a delightful spot , a tranquil oasis perhaps but on weekends during the summer Pizzas are on offer . Wood fired and deliciously thin . No license and only for lunch 1100 -1600 but check and bookings not available. Should be enough to keep out the glitterati....but we'll wort a look.
