Short and sweet

Quite a short experience but really lovely lay out, love the wooden bridge. Lots of beautiful butterflies to find hiding in the foliage.

haven't been to a butterfly house for several years, and had forgotten how hot and humid they are. while there were quite a few butterflies and caterpillars to be found, there didn't seem to be very many different varieties in there. maybe they were so well camouflaged that i missed them. i did enjoy the terrapins in their water feature... went for a visit and found the staff very helpful and informative. It is warm but your ticket allows you to come and go as you please. Can also recommend the cafe next door as well. There were lots of different butterfly's and caterpillars. There are signs attached to plants to show you where the caterpillars are.

Great place for a quick visit. Right next to Cadbury Garden centre so made for a good day out. Lots of amazing butterflies and Terrapins in lovely surroundings. We went on the last day before they closed for the winter, and will be going back again in the summer.

We visited on 29 October 2014, with two young children, 6 and 10. They enjoyed it very much and we would recommend it. It's part of a day out, as a visit for around an hour. We loved the family, very friendly, and their passion for the Butterfly House.

My family visited this attraction in early July 2014. We found the staff to be very pleasant, informative & kind. Myself, my wife our Son & his girlfriend & my Daughter her partner & son of around 18 months. As it was a very hot day, we became uncomfortable after an hour or so, we went back to the entrance... Next door to the Cadbury Garden Centre hidden behind a conservatory sales office is a really nice cafe and the butterfly house. We were really surprised, because it's a great place to visit, very hot in the house so you might need to retreat to the cafe occasionally, but what a collection of butterflies, they are everywhere in all colours... Visited this attraction looking to do something peaceful and a bit different with my boyfriend on saturday the 18th october, we hadn't previously known it was there due to it being hidden away and not really heard about. It was a brilliant day, it only costs around £5 each for adults to get in, and £3-4 for children. This is... More

What a fabulous place. This visit was a gift from the family for our 30th wedding anniversary. I didn't know the place existed before but so so glad we have had the chance to experience the many butterflies fluttering past our heads and even landing on my arm as we sat on the seat taking it all in. Fantastic atmosphere... More

I went yesterday with my daughter and 13 week old granddaughter. The lady on duty was very friendly and informative. It is a lovely place to visit and a pleasure to watch the baby's reaction to the butterflies. It gets hot in there, obviously, so half way through we went out to the art display area to let the baby... More
