Visited with 5 and 8 year old. The lady there patiently answered all our questions and showed us lots of things, explaining at just the right level for us. The butterflies, chrysalises and caterpillars were all so beautiful and it felt like such an honour to be walking amongst them flying all around us. It is hot in there but... More

Fantastic experience - 4 year old, 8 year old and adults all loved this. I cannot imagine who this would not appeal to. Loads of colourful, some big butterflys surround you. Watch them hatch, fly feed all really close up. The owner stopped and explained some bizarre butterfly behavious. Hot but you can come out and cool down then go... More

Take your time and your camera! The selection of butterflies is amazing and it's a wonderful way to spend and hour or so looking at these fabulous little creatures. There's even a 'crib sheet' to help you identify each butterfly.

Took a couple of teenagers and a younger member here on a rainy day. We stayed about an hour and had a load of fun trying to spot the caterpillars and photographing the butterflies. They all had fun and were quite enthralled by it all. Strange but it was a real little gem in the hidden depths of congresbury.

This is somewhere we had been meaning to try for some time as we only live just up the road, and eventually got around to it as a result of a Groupon deal. I’m not sure quite what I was expecting, but it was really very good. Certainly a great range of colourful butterflies flitting around all over the place,... More

Kept grandchildren aged 6 months to 8 years interested and happy for an hour or more. And their adults enjoyed it too. Pete "The Bug Man" can provide fascinating information in an age approriate way to children and adults. There are activities outside the heated area for children who get too hot inside, and you can drop in and out... More

A fantastic experience, well worth the drive from South Wales. The staff were extremely well informed, enthusiastic and very helpful answering many questions. Excellent value for money will definitely visit again.
