On our third visit in three years we enjoyed the experience very much. Once again my God daughter was lucky enough to be mistaken for a flower and have a beautiful Diadem Butterfly land on her!The staff couldn't have been more helpful in answering questions.

Yes it's nice to go to and see the butterfly's but this is walked round in about 20 minutes! Wasn't as many different butterflies as was advertised and it's definitely over priced! Would not recommend

I'm very sorry that you were underwhelmed by your visit to the Butterfly House. Fortunately the vast majority of our visitors are overwhelmed by the beautiful environment full of exotic flowers and butterflies and choose to spend much longer soaking in the atmosphere and exploring our jungle than you did. Our prices are extremely competitive and allow our customers’ access... More

Used a Groupon voucher to visit last week when heavy showers were predicted and I thought it would be somewhere warm, dry and interesting to take my granddaughter and her friend (ages 4 and 5). It was easy to find, when coming from the A370 it is the next right turn after Cadbury Garden Centre. Car parking is ample and... More

A great attraction and the owner is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the subject and enthusiastic to tell anyone about anything you want to know. It was fabulous to see the butterflies flying around us and while touching them is not encouraged they do sometimes land on you. We bought a sheet that allowed our daughter to identify the butterflies... More

What a lovely little butterfly house, the layout is brilliant and has various exotic plants and even a pond which is home to lots of terrapins! It's very cheap to get in and your ticket is valid all day which is really good. It's a really nice place to spend an hour walking around looking for the different butterfly species!... More

We took our 5-year old grandson here today as he is a budding entomologist - loves bug hunting. It was an eye-opener to see so many varieties of butterflies, and he really enjoyed trying to identify all the real butterflies from the leaflet which we picked up as we went in. The entrance fee is valid all day which means... More

We took our grandchildren aged 5 and 7 for a visit to the butterfly house and they loved it. It isn't huge but there were lots of butterflies flitting around. We bought them an information sheet describing all the different butterflies with photos and they enjoyed trying to find the different ones. We were told we could go next door... More

The is a pond with many turtles or more probably terrapins again close up and easy to watch. We were lucky enough to approach a female member of staff ( regatta t shirt... More

We stopped here on our way from the Midlands to Devon to give the kids a rest from all the traveling. Wasn't really expecting too much but was in for a real surprise. Granted it's not the biggest attraction in the world but the personality and genuine passion of the guy who runs it was exceptional. He was fantastic with... More
