The guide was really good and we enjoyed the way sevreal dolphins communicated with her. The skipper, though was so casual that we considered it to be unsafe. When we asked him where the life jackets were stored he got very cross and stopped the boat saying it wascall our fault that the trip would be delayed. It cant be... More

The day we sailing is not very sunny,so we find the dolpin after 2 hours sailing, and our safari finally got more than 6 hours, not the usual 4-5 hours. We bring two 4-year-old boys to the boat and they are really nauty, but the crews are really nice to us. Before I get down to swim with the dolphin, I got... More

First off - both my husband and I spoke with Mary. We wanted a sailing day with dolphins. Understood dolphins are not guaranteed so you take your chances. But sailing - what she didn't tell us was the main sail was torn and out of action - that to me is dishonest. Wind assisted and sailing are two very different... More

My husband and I took our 9 year old twin girls out on this tour after a negative experience with a different dolphin tour operator the day before. Had a great time. Spotted a large group of dolphins after about an hour. This group had several juvenile dolphins, so we were unable to swim with them, but got very close... More

We tried to take this tour but unfortunately the weather forecast said it might be raining on the date we arrived. Since we have several ten-year olds who might not be allowed to enter the water when it was raining. Mary kindly informed us the weather condition everyday for three consecutive days before we arrived. At the end, we were... More

Met at the dock and went aboard a lovely sailing boat. It was a lovely day so the sea was pretty much flat, within about 1hr we where following 2 blue whales a mother and a calf. It was such an amazing day even though we didnt swim with dolphins. The trip lasts most of the day so take lunch.... More

I had one of my best days out on the ocean with Butlers. Not only did we see tons of dolphins, we also got to snorkel close to a little island out in the ocean. It was a wonderful experience to come so close to nature - and about any question we had about the marine life was answered by... More

When I was in Tauranga in January I spent a day out on the ocean with Butler and his crew. Not only did we see many Common Dolphins also Butler was full of interesting stories and had an answer to nearly everything we wanted to know about the Marine Life of the area. This definitely was one of my best... More

When I arrived in Tauranga after 1 1/2hrs drive I got a simple sorry from the owner operator that we couldn't leave because of engine problems. I expected them to ask other companies to take us out. But I only got the answer that they had already left! They had all my details and they weren't able to inform me... More
