Great beach for a walk or swim, especially out of season, when it's not so busy! But it never gets crowded like other overseas beaches. Great rock pools to explore the Mt to walk around or for the fit walk up and great cafes to visit for a coffee a must visit for locals and visitors.

Clean and safe. Some people enjoying a late afternoon swim even though it's mid-winter. There is lovely sand, walks round the Mount and along the waterfront, rocky pools. Plenty of parking, though that might be an issue in summer.

Beautiful beach, lovely sand and water. A great boardwalk for walking, running or strolling along. Shops and cafes on opposite side of road. A whale and it's calf were seen recently here with hundreds of people stopping to watch and enjoy. Patrolled by surf club in summer.

Nice beach. Always very busy but it was good to sit and eat my takeaway dinner and watch the surfers.

Enjoy the magnificent beaches even in Winter. Nothing better than to walk along the board walk children playing in the sand rugged up. Surf Beach part of the Mount great with wetsuits or vontinual walking out to the blow hole. All accessible within a short space. And then there is the magnificent walk around or up the Mount. So many... More

Love walking along the beach, watching the waves and breathing in the sea air. Always had family holidays there as a child and even though the high rises had gone up and some things have changed, the beach is still captivating
