Great place, so much fun, and suck a great cause. They have single handedly protected thousands of iguanas from hungry poachers.

This family has done more to preserve the island ecosystem than anyone on Roatan. Nightly, they patrol the reef to protect the animals and coral from illegal poachers who come regularly to try and take the conch and lobster, and every day, they chase local fishermen away who are trying to do the same. In return, they have a crazy... More

On one of the reviews I seen they said nobody spoke English and they were quick to take your money. The most beautiful woman I have ever met in person works in the gift shop and speaks very good English. The gift shop is a must stop also, they have a very large selection of items to choose from. I... More

Set your expectations up- and enjoy the hundreds of Iguanas strolling around the property- it's a crazy sight! Expectations- I arrived alone and was the only tourist there. All 5 people on the property- I assume worked/lived there- did not speak English- but they did know how to take your $10 admission fee. They do not provide you any information-... More

We had an amazing time at the iguana farm! Sherman and his son showed us around the property and explained the history of the reef and the animals living on the farm. He has been rescuing fish/animals and protecting the coral reef for his entire life. You can feel his passion and love for Roatan and animals. We couldn't have... More

We enjoyed the visit to the iguana park. My husband is very fascinated by these creatures so it was fun to see so many of them. Feeding them was a bit creepy but in a good way. This is a house with lots of iguanas running around so be clear on that. Overall we liked it and would recommend it... More

Always fun checking out the huge variety between the MANY iguanas on site, and their ancient dinosaur-like features. I don't know if it's coincidence, or purposeful, but they have been fed during all my visits, and witnessing that is quite an experience. The price has increased over recent years, but that OK since it's all contributing to providing this safe... More

Came as part of a tour package. Iguanas are all over, not in any cages. They give you leaves to feed them. It is a unique experience to see so many of them interacting in one place. There are also some caged monkeys and some very large fish at the dock. Good to see once.

The iguanas are beautiful and very healthy. We enjoyed feeding them and interacting with them. The owners don't really give you a tour or visit with you much so if you go there don't expect a lot of people interaction. They basically give you the stuff to feed them and walk away:( There were some cute monkeys in cages and... More
