This was a well worth trip to the Iguana park. We were greeted by owner, Sherman and his son, Sherman Jr., and they took us through the park and explained how everything worked. They have over 2500 iguanas, but they can't give you an exact count because they roam around free, but are protected from predators, including humans for iguana... More

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Arch's Iguana Park. We would have been happy just to see and feed ALL those iguanas but we loved the picturesque setting near the water as well. We learned of many species of fish and saw quite a few lobsters! We spent about 45 minutes there and it was fun and relaxing. We... More

Wow! What a unique experience. As others have said, I have never seen so many iguanas in one place, let alone really big iguanas. They are loose and apparently come each day to the grounds to hang out an be fed, and then return the jungle by night. Carefully, you can feed them fruit, scratch their sides, and have them... More

I have never seen so many iguanas in my life. They allowed you to feed them. The place is really cool for kids and adults. They have monkeys and the marine life on the wharf was awesome. I highly recommend you do this on your trip to Roatan.

If you want the real experience of Roatan, visit Arch's place. Yeah, sure, the iguanas are cool and so are the random monkeys and birds. But if you really want to see something amazing, pay them an extra $30 and ask Sherman or one of his sons to take you out on their boat, and to tell you the story... More

The Iguana park was a nice, short stop during our tour of the island. It is fairly cheap to get in and there are friendly iguanas everywhere. They will give you some plants they love to eat so you can get some great shots of yourself feeding them. There are a few other animals on site, but the main attraction... More

This facility is a bit old and run down, but if you want to visit iguanas this is the place. The kids really enjoyed getting up close and personal and feeding the iguanas. They have a couple of monkeys (in cages) and some Terrapin in a holding area off a pier.

A recommended stop… This place is surely off the beaten path and appears to be family operated. It's small but mostly pleasant. The $10 entrance fee is a bit stiff for what you get, but you'll forget about it as soon as you stroll among the giant iguanas and feed their hungry mouths. Don't be scared, the iguanas--as large as... More

Yeah, $10 pp is somewhat steep for such a small place but I like lizards so we stopped in. Iguanas all over the place, munching large leaves that are free from the help. Ask for a leaf and watch the reptiles come running. Several males were going after the females, often with two ganging up on one uncooperative female. You... More

This is a small place where a LOT of iguanas of all sizes wander around. The "marine park" is just the ocean with a tiny area corralled to keep a few large fish captive. There is one person tossing food to the fish, and a pelican begging him for a bite. Also in residence is one really mean spider monkey... More
