4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013 NEW

I booked a hotel in BGC and was walking distance to this area. It's green, has tons of shopping and some excellent restaurants. We were really surprised that people were so friendly and easy to talk to in restaurants and shops. Most places aren't that cheap, but nothing seemed too terribly overpriced and there are tons of options everywhere.

So fortunate to be living really close to this place. The Fort is slowly becoming the new Makati (at least for me). It's walking distance from our house so we come here for almost everything. To gas up (they have Shell), to do the groceries (Market market mall or S&R), children's medical check-ups (St. Luke's), mini-marts on every other block,... More

Aside from a major business dwelling, this place offers various establishments such as restaurants, hotels, and schools. Budget-conscious travelers know better though. :)

I am actually a Pasig/Ortigas girl. I hang out quite a lot around Ortigas and Edsa, Edsa Shangrila and Megamall, Podium and Galleria. But when I started going to The Fort. I found out that it's a really nice, new area in Taguig that's been well improved and developed. It used to be just a slum area before, and when... More

The Fort has become the new Makati from my childhood. It is nice, clean, organized and not so crowded. The neighborhood is currently undergoing a construction boom with a dozen building cranes dotting the skyline. I loved the spacious sidewalks, with handicapped ramps, where you don't have to worry about elbowing someone next to you. It does have a mini... More

Having been in the neighborhood a few years back I was shocked to see a new city built in such a short time. This once military camp is now a set of new/almost finished/in construction skyscrappers and shops. The main shopping street has a lot of greens and there are a few square's which the city decided to use for... More

The Fort used to be a military base. It is now the newest financial and commercial development in the country rivaling that of nearby makati. A construction boom of new and modern skyscrapers dot the area. It is worth a visit to sample the many restaurants offering varied international and national cuisines. It also has a sprawling shopping complex where... More
