Can't think of a more pleasant park to have a picnic in with delightful water to swim and laze around in. Better yet the continuation of the Nahal (river) Amal (aka Asi) into Kibbutz Nir David expands the possibilities for activities, restaurant, accommodations, and even more beautifully manicured river banks. The National Park accommodates large (100 people) groups overnight for... More

These natural springs form a wonderful water park. There is an area with slides for those who enjoy this kind of activity., Grass is all around with wonderful shade trees and tables to picnic and relax. The extreme heat of the Beit Shean Valley (over 40 degrees C or 105 F) is not felt as you can jump into the... More

We came here for our picnic lunch and were unbelievable surprised by the amount of beautiful birds here. We saw (up close and personal) the National bird of Israel, the hoopoe as well as lots of rose ringed parakeets, speckled bulbul, and White-throated kingfishers-and we were only here about an hour or so. It looked like a nice place to... More

Our recent trip to Israel was all about go, go, go so when we arrived to the Pools of Gan we were ready to relax and swim. The little fish that gave a foot massage was a blast. We had a picnic lunch in the park, the weather was perfect. We highly recommend a visit. John & LynNita Ellis

This is a park in which a warm and quite a large spring flows. The pools were extended and lots of plants were planted. This is great for all the family. The water are warm and the region is hot (it is below the sea level). You should come for a whole day stay, for all the family. Bring your... More

Loved my recent visit to Gan Hashlosha. The waterfalls and swimming pools are terrific. It's a beautiful place to visit and relax in northern Israel.

Lovely picnic grounds and watering hole to cool off in Israel's hot summer months. Lots of locals here with families. Not exactly as dramatic as other national parks, but very picturesque.

I've been going here as a kid with my uncle. The water is super clean and clear. It's so refreshing to relax here for the day, have a picnic and enjoy the scenery. Definitely one of the more or less hidden gems in Israel!
