Inhotim is much more than a huge private art gallery. Walking through its paths provides a unique experience of harmony between the gardens and artwork. Some works are interactive, which arouses interest in children and people unfamiliar with art. There are restaurants and snack options. Clean toilets and trash cans in a proper quantity. Be prepared to walk a lot,... More

If I could live inside of Inhotim I would definitely do that… Take at least two days to visit, three is perfect so you can enjoy with no rush…

From contemporary arts (from 1960´s onward) to botanics and environment, visiting Inhotim Institute is an experience to be repeated many times. Enjoy their free visiting (on tuesdays) if you can, but be sure to feel well rewarded even if you payed for the entrance fee and to use their carts in case you do not feel like walking, if you... Very good place to introduce modern arts to children. The gardens are very beautiful. You can either watch the art and interact with them. I do reccomend to rent the electrical cars because the ramps sometimes are stif. . The maintance is world class. Bathrooms clean and people friedly. A must go

The gardens are beautiful and the food and service of Tamboriu restaurant are very good but that's it. The expositions are not interesting, the worst is the one at Cosmococa, where they "try" to simulate a cocaine high with images and sounds, that experience should be part of a don't use drugs campaign, because if using drugs cause such boredon,... This place has a little bit of everything. I don't really know how to describe Inhotim, it's kind of like a massive botanical garden with interactive, quirky and sometimes downright weird modern art exhibits. It's an interesting place to go if you want to get out of the city, but unlike most things in Belo Horizonte I found it rather... More

Fantastic place for bit of tropical forest, arts, good food. The crew is very nice and helpfull. We were delighted with Cezar at candle shack and Tais who was electric car pilot. Well done!

Even if you don´t like art, you need to visit this place and just enjoy the perfect landscape, exotic flowers and birds! It´s not easy to get there, try one of the bilingual transfer services like KOPA turismo etc.

You get to Inhotim by driving out of the sprawling city of Belo Horizonte towards Sao Paulo and turning off the highway to Brumadinho. You drive down increasingly bumpy roads and through modest rural villages... and then all of a sudden you are in the oasis of Inhotim. Inhotim is a vast landscaped botanic masterpiece of parks, glades, groves, orchards... More
