This park is very close to Belo Horizonte and is really worth going. The feeling to a Brazilian is"how could I have taken so long to go there?" It is a beautiful piece of nature with lots of green, small lakes, swans, ... Among all that, spread throughtout the park, there are over twenty pavillions with all kinds of art,... More

It's huge, and even in most of a day we got nowhere near seeing everything. We coughed up for a golf cart for the day, and it was worth it, with a very helpful guide, Sueli. The galleries are a big mix, some we loved, some not, but it was a memorable day (including the lunch venue).

This is a place where you can spend the day. It is full of surprises that will blow you away. The grounds with beautiful landscaping and the pieces are wonderful. If you are in Belo Horizonte and have some time, please go...........

It is hard to choose words to give this place a fair description other than what a lot of users have already said. Scenery is spectacular, galleries and open air works are great (even if you will find some odd) and overall it easily makes for a very pleasant two-or-three-day visit. Aspects it could improve: accessibility (many galeries are hard... More

Finally an amazing place in my country that made me speechless. Even if you don't like arts, you'll get impressed. I highly recommend to visit Inhotim. It's not easy to get there, the city where the park is located called Brumadinho has no infrastructure at all for visitors, as a Brazilian I was feeling left without options. It's very hard... More

You will need two days to visit this open-air art museum. Actually, Inhotim is more than this. It blends modern architecture and contemporary art galleries into a beautiful tropical garden landscape. The lush vegetation and well maintained gardens make an unforgetable contrast with modern gallery buildings and art installations scattered across the 110-hectare area. Some tips: . Although it is... We were told to visit inhotim by friends of ours and it was definitely worth it! One of the most beautiful places I have visited. The people working there are extremely helpful and the place is so vast that at times it feels that you have this park all to yourself. The buffet restaurant we tried inside was fantastic though... The mix of art and nature works far better than I could have hoped. It's a bit remote but so good it's worth a trip to South America just by itself. I was there for two half-days and it wasn't enough. Take at least two days to really enjoy it. And bring swimming suits.

This place, like all my Brazilian friends say, "doesn't even look like Brazil". It has it all: beautiful landscape, marvelous gardens mixed with native plants and flowers, a wonderful mix of dirt and paved pathways, clean bathrooms everywhere, a nice restaurant, many smaller snack places and cafes, it's well organized and perfectly signaled. Everything was good, making this place a... More
