This place is one the most amazing experiences I have ever had anywhere...hard to describe quite what it is...paradise botanical garden, open air art gallery, immersive multimedia experience...it has something for everyone and I am shocked it is not more famous or on the South America backpacker trail. I am not into museums or art galleries but this is an... More

Inhotim is a fantastic outdoor art museum/park experience with plenty to see and do. There are interactive activities and beautiful and thought provoking pieces in a wonderful natural setting! Much to do and one day probably isn't quite enough to see everything!

Inhotim may be my favorite art gallery in the world. It is more than an modern art gallery, or a complex of many galleries. It is more than a massive sculpture park. It is more than a huge and amazing botanic garden. Trip Advisor says it is the number one attraction in its local area (Brumadinho). For me it is... More

This place is kind of a paradise... After spending 3 weeks in Brasil, after all these parties and drinkings and world cup etc.. I found myself in this place and it was kind of a meditation. I found it kind of over priced but I think it's worth for it. If you are not a fun of this kind of... More

Great combination of natural beauty and cultural activities. One of my favourite visits in Brazil so far. The variation of flowers, trees and plants is just amazing. And the number of museums in the park as well. You could spend a whole day at the park and still be able to not have seen everything.

Inhotim is maybe my favorite Museum in the whole world!...and modern art is really not even my thing. However the expansive gardens and concept of "hiking" from one exhibit to the next was an incerdible way to spend the day. I can't wait to go back and continue exploring this HUGE garden/ art gallery/heaven on earth. ALSO! check out their... More

before visiting, i found inhotim to be indescribable. is it an open air museum? modern art gallery? beautiful gardens? swim park? birdwatchers paradise? after visiting, inhotim is still indescrible but has a little bit of everything to fit the bill for nearly everyone. some of the exhibits will defy explanation and others leave you perplexed, but that is a good... I would recommend this place for families if you like to walk, and you are open to different kinds of experiences. The place is beautiful to walk around, and there are some very kid-friendly exhibits. It's modern art, so some of it is not to all tastes (including mine), but the architecture is interesting, the exhibits are very different, and... More

I love plants and the gardens here are spectacular which makes the art installations even more exciting. Be sure to allow a full day and eat lunch in the restaurant. It's expensive but worth it.
