Tuesdays are free for everyone! There's a bus going from Belo Horizonte (Central bus station)to the museum everyday and returning. The art collection includes artists from Europe, South and North America, interactive exhibits, amazing gardens, fruits growing (and you can eat them) and even 2 pools you can use! It's very unlikely you will see everything in one day only.... More

I have to confess Im not an expert in art, let alone modern art. But the place is absolutely stunning....magic and perfect gardens, modern architecture buildings, amazing art collection. If you are an expert, you should spend 2 days at the place. If you are just curious, 1 day should be enough. Dont forget to try their restaurants. Access is... More

This is an outstanding park and is a true work of art in every aspect. There are no bad places here. The art always fits in the landscape and this is how it is supposed to be. Of course, you can go to Tretyakov gallery in Moscow, Russia, and look at famous Malevich's "Black Square" hanging there from the wall... More

One of the most beautiful botanic gardens in the world. Manicured and green. Amazing variety of plants. The restaurant, while being a buffet, is about the best buffet I have been to anywhere. Lovely setting and delicious food! The contemporary art museum has a few super installations but is definitely not to most people's taste with a lot of vulgar,... More

Literally in the middle of nowhere you come across one million square metres of mostly managed parkland crammed full of interesting and beautiful art installation. You can easily spend two or three days here. If you don't like crowds then avoid the days when entrance is free to the public.

We have been to many art museums around the world and have never seen anything like Inhotim. It consists of a series of modern art galleries and exhibits distributed throughout 5,000 acres of parks and gardens. Truly amazing. What we really liked: The galleries and exhibits (of course), the parks, and the staff, friendly, well trained, and always ready to... More

This is a fine park, offering varied walks and a fascinating collection of art. There are some fine sculptures in the park (and some less fine ones) and a number of galleries, most of which are architectural triumphs in their own right. Some of the installation art is mediocre, but there are several fine installations and the joy of the... More

It is nice. Mostly the outdoor and the garden. Most art is impossible to understand how was chosen. The fame that this park was used for money laundry make sense when you see some art that is just a mess. But it is worth to visit. It is possible to do in one day although we did in two days... Visit highly recommended! This is a beautiful park that combines modern art and landscaping. Inhotim brings together a unique collection of galleries, facilities and modern art pieces, many of them integrating music and art. Moreover, presents a wide collection of exotic plants and native centennial trees. The park includes fine dining and comfortable facilities. The only thing missing is a... More

It's a great outdoor museum, every inch of it is well thought and the nature is just amazing. My favorite art piece is the Orchestra using speakers, just lovely! The restaurant is so great, you must visit it for lunch. It is important to book as soon as possible, it is usually very busy. Be prepared to walk a lot.... More
