I had one of the best snorkling experience of my life. The tour cost 70 usd and it was simply amazing: I saw sea lions, penguins, white sharks, marine turtles. All anumals were very closed. I can just recommend it!

This has to be the highlight of my whole Galapagos trip. I recommend Rosedelco Tours. Their office is in between town and the jetty. Carmen the organiser and her husband Travolta (don't know his real name but they call him Travolta because of his resemblance to John Travolta) is an excellent captain with great skills on the seas getting there... This was the highlight of our trip. I had such high expectations from all the pictures I saw and reviews I read that I was half afraid that I'd be disappointed. No such thing! FABULOUS!!!! Juana from La Gran Tortuga, our hotel, booked the trip for us and it was $80pp. After a 2 hour boat ride, we arrived at... More

We thought 75 USD for a snorkeling trip was rather expensive, but I am so glad we went. The lava tunnels are a magnificent place and there is so much wild life. We snorkeled with penguins, sharks, turtles, sea horses, lobster, fish... This trip was even better than our diving trips on San Cristobal.

I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. I saw white tips, turtles, penguins, rays, coral, and even an octopus underwater. Above water I watched hundreds of blue footed boobies dive in unison. The trip included two snorkeling locations and even a walk along the lava tunnels! It was a great time!

My friends, if you have 1 day in Isabela, go to Los Tuneles!! Is a magical place! Sharks, fishes, manta rays, giant turtles, cristal clear water! The tour takes a day and cost about US$ 80, and woth every penny! Look for Rosedelco tour, speak with Carmem and her housband (looks like John Travolta, everyone calls it Travolta) will be... More

The cool season arrived a little early this year and so did the rough seas! It's about a 45 minute full speed, wet and bumpy ride to reach this site. We made two snorkel stops and both were spectacular. The guides know where to find the wildlife, and the boat driver did an amazing job maneuvering in some very tight... More

The excursion to Los Tuneles was the highlight of our Isabela visit. You get picked up at your hotel or make the way to the shop and then after 45 minutes navigation with the speedboat you reach the underwater tunnels. The boats take up to 10 people but this is comfortable enough. During the journey our skipper sighted two large... More

The tunnels are amazing! But the entrance is super sketchy, so go with an experienced boat captain. We went with Rosedelco, right down from the Casa de Marito Hotel on the main street in Villamil. The captain was amazing at handling the big waves at the entrance! They were also great at finding the animals and exploring the caves and... More
