We took the tour one afternoon. It was very informative. Got to see iguanas of all ages. Our guide was very knowledgeable. I would recommend that you where bug spray. We were bitten quite a bit. Afterwards wander around Queen Elizabeth Park. It's quite lovely.

I wasn't sure this tour would be worth the $120 it costs for a family of 4, but it was one of the highlights of our trip. Even the teenagers enjoyed it immensely. We saw many iguanas in the program and 2 or 3 in the wild. Watching their territorial behavior was quite interesting. Alberto is a great guide; it... More

My family of 5 went on the tour with Alberto. He's great and it is nice to talk to him. It isn't a highly eventful tour but going on the tour ensures you that you will see some blue iguana in various stages of maturity. Plus it helps conservation of this species. They are very cool to see IRL. The... More

4 of us (ages 30-53) visited the Blue Iguana Recovery Program, and it ranked up there with one of our favorite parts of the trip. Our guide was Alberto, who was great! You could tell he really cared about the iguanas, as well as the other wildlife on the island. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and the program,... More

We arrived at the QE II Gardens on the Sunday between Christmas and New Years to discover that the Blue Iguana Discovery Tour is every day at 11 am except on Sundays and major holidays. Initially disappointed, we decided to tour the gardens instead and to see if we could get lucky and spot some blue iguanas in the process.... More

Our whole group loved it from 10 years old to 70. The tour doesn't require much walking. The iguanas are the stars, even in the short period we spent with them you could get a sense of their personalities. The program seems well run, our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the seeing the iguanas turn blue was very... More

As a wildlife conservation professional, I can promise that this is a great experience. And your donation goes a long way to preserving the natural heritage of Cayman. This facility is a model for what a dedicated community can do to save its iconic endangered species. Plus, the blue iguanas are soooo cool.

This is a very educational tour around the breeding pens. We learnt a lot about the history and habbits of the Blue Iguana. Well worth the price, which although it is more than the admission to the QE2 gardens is well worth it because it supports this worthy cause.

Had a great time. The driver, Mike, was very informative about the island, and he was very funny. He took us to some places we would not have gone otherwise, like Vivine's for lunch (and her food was fantastic). He also took us to the Botanical gardens and Pedro Castle. I would strongly suggest you look into his tour if... More
