BEWARE! There are certain tour guides with the African Eagle Group whom you should be very wary of. We booked a tour through the Cape Tourism office in Cape Town. We paid for a tour of Langa and Khayelitsha. The tour began pleasantly enough with a walking tour of Langa, and then the tour guide decides to give us a... More

You have not really seen Cape Town until you have seen the Townships. We spent a very important and informative morning with Thabang Titotti. He has a great understanding of township life having grown up in one. He is also very personable. Making the whole experience that much more enjoyable. He picks you up where you are staying and will... More

Mike Zuma made our tour incredibly informative, fun and enlightening. This tour was not on our radar initially, but we are so happy we experienced it. You won't regret it...this is REAL Capetown. This is the experience I talk about when telling friends of our time in Capetown, and that is saying a lot. Capetown is full of incredible sights... More

I was traveling by myself and could spend only 24 hours in cape Town. My hotel organized the tour for me with Thabang Titoti (from E.zizwe Travel and Tours) and I am very grateful they managed to accommodate a last minute tour for me. It was just me, and it lasted a full Sunday morning. I really liked the tour,... More

We were supposed to get lunch with the tour but that didn't happen. We did get to drink the home brew and our guide was very personable with us and sharing his town. This is a must do if you like to see and feel the culture when you visit. CapeTown was very nice, but there is a stark difference... More

I had a fantastic tour of several townships in Cape Town with Thabang Titotti of Ezizwe Tours. Thabang was very informative, knew a number of people who lived in the townships so we had more of an insider view, very friendly, and more than willing to accommodate the tour to your particular interests. I highly recommend him and the tours.... More

we booked a tour in Knysna with a company as recommended by Lonely Planet and we were blown away by the experience, the people, the dedication, the everything If you have not been in a South African Township I strongly urge you to do so. We were unsure as to the crime reports but we came across the half page... More

We spent an afternoon in the CapeTown townships of Lange and Gugulethu organised by Cooljazz in Seapoint who put us in touch with Mike Zuma of Ubizo tours. Mike picked us up from our hotel and took us on a township tour. It was the most interesting ,entertaining and informative day out I have been on. Mike knew everybody and... More

I was a bit skeptical at first but after my visit to Langa I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Cape Town. Our group did all the normal destinations: Table Mountain, Robben Island, Cape Point, wine country, Waerfront, etc., and those are all fine and great to see but they are in essence Europe in Africa. If you want... More
