The buildings are interesting enough to visit this place even if you don't like beer. The tour comes with an English script and most of the videos have English subtitles. After the tour, you get a free beer/beverage and a pretzel. I had their Alousius beer that was very good.

Highly recommended. Had an English speaking guide, who made the visit of the brewery and the museum as an extraordinary, very interesting and fascinating experience. Good background stories and articulation.

I took my in laws from wisconsin to visit the brewery. They loved it from learning all the history to the adorable characters portrayed throughout the brewary. Free beer and pretzel at the end of the tour is awesome and a great gift shop.

A real fun piece of architecture at the Kuchlbauer brewery. Take the very interesting brewery tour and hear the story of one of the oldest breweries (that is if you can understand the Bavarian accent). And what is a full size copy of da Vinci's Last Supper doing here ? Climb the amazing tower and end the visit in the... More

We were looking for something to do and this caught our eye. To start our day, we took a tour of the Kuchlbauer beir processing. The guide was all in Germany, but we were able to muddle through, and enjoyed the decor and the animations. After the tour, we enjoyed a complimentary bier and then took the opportunity to climb... It is quite surprising to discover the "Kuchlbauer-Hundertwasser-Tower", just in a small place like Abensberg. The tower is really fantastic! And as it should be in Bavaria, beer and food are very good!

After a week of typical German architecture, this was a definite change of pace and a great time! This was one of our excursions offered by our river boat company and our small group had the place pretty much to ourselves. Our guide was from NYC so no trouble understanding her. We toured the brewery and learned the background for... More

The tour through the beer brewery is quite nice, but could be a bit difficult to follow for foreigners as the (at least our) guide speaks with a heavy bavarian accent. I speak German and could follow about 75%. It gives you an idea how the owner and architect shared their love for dwarves and came to creating this tower.... More

We would have liked to check out the nice Hunderwasser Tower, of the Brewery, but because of traffic jams ( constant on German Motorways in the summer) we arrived too late, but still in time for a beer in the adjacent ‘Beergarten’. It was a nice place but when we walked in to get a beer, they told us it... More
