While I think the facility and the horses are beautiful I was disappointed in the tour itself. The staff member we purchased our tickets from had a tiny bit of English-enough to indicate that there was no tour in English and since there were so many nationalities - German, Spanish, Italian, American they only do the tour in French!! When... More

Good Morning, Thank you for your visit and for the time that you have dedicated for this comment. During the World Equestrian Games, we had received many foreigners for guided-tours. Our guides have tried to give theirbest during the visit and fitting their tour to their public. When there are so many nationalities, they can't do the guided-tour in all... More

We visited here on a Thursday in August and were not disappointed. There was an outdoor show in the afternoon with different horses and equestrian disciplines. The commentary was only in French, but that didn't seem to matter. In the morning there was time to look round. We had taken a picnic, but there was a café and gift shop. The... More

The stables house all of the french horse breeds used for sport and work. Today the stud is mostly a tourist attraction as the Haras... More

My last visit was probably in the seventies and I'm researching this because it is going to be part of my autobiography about my life in France and Italy in the sixties. The French national studs are truly out of this world and I was lucky enough to have first hand experience at a few of those in Normandy.

This had to be the highlight of my week in Normandy. We went on a Thursday so that we could take in the show which was out of this world. I am not usually known for emotional outbursts but the sheer beauty of the horses had me weeping. The standard of horsemanship was simply outstanding and despite my appalling French... More

We had the best day out visiting Le Haras du Pin. Even if you are not a horse owner this is the most interesting place. You are able to see the horses in their stables and a groom gives you information about the various breeds of horse. The show on a Thursday during the summer months is spectacular. Superb horsemanship.... More
