I love machines especially motor cars. If you are British and have ever owned a British car then this is the place for you. Lord Nuffield and Spen King get many mentions however Dr Porsche and the lovely Mercedes ( daughter of Mr. Benz) get no mention. There is of the course the first BMW motor car - in fact... More

If you are into classic cars you must visit the Heritage Motor Centre, there is something for everyone. A 4x4 experience, a vast library, cinema showing historic motoring related films, a great shop but above all, some of the rarest and most significant cars in British motoring history, and a few film star vehicles for good measure!

A superb selection of historic vehicles, with interactive displays and informative videos. The museum is spotlessly clean and the staff are very pleasant.

Under 16 years and they would struggle to make sense of the exhibits although there are interactive stands to understanding moving parts. We spent over 3 hours tripping down memory lane and thoroughly enjoyed the time. The cafe is clean and has a small selection of hot meals and sandwiches to choose from. The centre as you drive up to... More

The display includes vehicles from the 1800s up until the 1980s. All the vehicles are in one hall. Some of the vehicles are roped off but with many, you can actually walk up to the vehicle and even put your head inside. This compares favourably with other museums where all the exhibits are kept at a distance. It is easy... More

Spent a fantastic few hours here on a Monday. Definately good value for money especially as Sir Sterling Moss was there being reunited with his Healey Sprint from the 1960's, that had been superbly restored by the Car SOS team. Great to chat with them and Sir Sterling about the car. The centre has a great and varied selection of... More

I took a group on a coach for a visit on our way back from Derbyshire to the south coast. It was easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The reception were waiting for our group arrival. We went straight to the cafe for lunch which is a self service light lunch of good choices. There is plenty... More

Easy to get to from the M40. Lots of easy parking. Lots of great british cars and lots of fascinating facts. Kids seemed to be ejoying themselves. I fancied a go on the landrover experience but it is a bit expensive but some people had been on it and were waxing lyrical about it. The most dissapointing thing was the... More

Situated just of Junction 12 on the M40 this museum is easy to find and has lots of parking. It houses an extensive collection of vehicles from the earliest days of motoring right up to modern times. The entrance fees are reasonable for the amount of exhibits on offer. There is something of interest for all ages and you are able... More
