Great place to visit if you like cars, some very rare examples in the museum and an easy place to spend a day, I hear they have funding to expand so if that is true we will have to go again

Well done automotive museum focused, naturally, on British motors. I was drawn to the Land Rovers as I am an enthusiast of the make. Saw Huey (the first Land Rover), a 101, a one-off factory tow truck, a "pink panther," a Lara Croft edition, one of the 130s used in the James Bond movie and State 1 and State 2... More

Great Day ! Dragged the other half along who's in a wheelchair, didn't know, but got in for £8 as I'm her carer, whilst paying at about 10.15 am ( couldn't believe how many cars were already there ) I was told that the only flying Vulcan Bomber would be doing a flypast at approximately 3pm, ( the day gets... I am not a petrol head but just have a general interest in cars and history. I liked the time line detailing the history of motoring in the UK. The information about how the engine works and the cut in half car were good and the hands on display regarding brakes etc was interesting.. To be honest I found all... More

Visited today with the hubby, although it was £12 per adult, hubby got in free as I'm in a wheelchair. This price also allows as many re-admissions throughout the year as you can handle. The cars are all british built and take you down memory lane. Very interesting there are two from the early 1920's that you are allowed to... More

Fantastic setting and excellent venue for anyone interested in motor vehicles from very early models to concept cars which never made it to the market! Restaurant was pricey but on our second visit we picnicked in the grounds using the benches provided - even watched the fish swimming in the pond! Good value for money with 12 months entrance free... Great day out with the Retro truck show and free entrance to the museum. Also tried the Land Rover experience which was very good and informative re 4 x 4 driving.

Came here with family. For the price you pay, I don't think it's worth it unless you're fanatical about vehicles. We could have completed the whole museum within a couple of hours. There was lots to see in terms of different types of vehicles, but I detected a certain level of arrogance from some members of staff. The restaurant is... More

Many people don't realise that this excellent motor museum also has meeting and conference facilities. I was speaking at a conference here and took the opportunity during the break to take a look around the museum. It goes without saying that if you're into cars then this is a cracking place to visit. Lots of classic old and shiny vehicles... More

I visited the Museum during the ‘Buses Festival’ event and wonder why I’ve never been before. Partly funded by Land Rover, the museum holds a large collection of British cars – although mainly concentrating on the Midlands motor industry so some well known names are poorly represented, notably Ford and Vauxhall. The vehicles are well presented and have fact sheets... More
