We visited here on a rainy day at the start of our holiday as my husband is into cars but myself and my 8 year old daughter are not! Hence I thought it would be awful but it actually wasn't. The museum is pretty big and I can see for car fans it would be a fantastic outing. So despite... More

Off road experience really hit the spot - as did the painting a picture using radio controlled cars. We go two or three times a year

We met up with friends here for a great visit - overall we spent about 3 and 1/2 hours in the building. the climate control of the museum is kept at a very comfortable level which makes such a difference when wandering around - really didn't need a coat on in April.. There are seats dotted around the museum and... More

I love this place, it is a real haunt for those that have a love of the British motor Industry. When it opened it was predominantly based around British Leyland, BLMC, Austin Rover and so on, so there is a massive amount of cars devoted to these brands, from many First and last of the lines, including the very last... It's a bit of a schlep to get there, but well worth it. I loved the collection, as did my 10 year-old son. There's a good balance of stuff I remember from my childhood, with veteran and vintage cars, oddities such as never-built cars from the British Leyland days. Then there's the sports cars, the weird stuff such as Lady... More

A great museum for anyone with any sort of interest in cars, there is something here for you! There are classic cars, movie cars, modern cars, race cars etc. It's good value, even better value when done on Tesco vouchers as we did. I would strongly recommend taking part in one of the free guided tours that take place, this... More

Wow what an eye opener. We had a private tour of the whole Jaguar, Land Rover Experience and what a treat it was. However, professional courtesy forbids me from divulging what we did and saw the memories will be with me forever. However the public museum is a must to visit if you are near the area. From the moment... More

I certainly enjoyed this museum and found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. The museum is unlikely to interest people who are not interested in cars, but it makes no false claims - it is exactly what it says it is. Parking is very close to the museum. The displays are excellent but tend towards the "classic"; it would... More

Had just planned a quick break in my journey, stayed for a while. Before you go, make sure you are the right audience for this exhibit. I'm unconvinced young children won't get bored quickly, and anyone who is disinterested in cars probably won't get a lot out of it, but other than that, this is a great collection with lots... More

Spent a good and enjoyable three hours in the museum. Lots of Austin, Morris, Rover, Wolseley cars and a couple of interesting sections on Jaguar and Aston Martin - largely cars produced in the Midlands. But for a museum that supposedly celebrates the BRITISH car industry it is sadly lacking in other popular makes. Where are all the Fords that... More
