We wanted to do something different but relaxing on Sunday. We've found just the thing. The boat trip was just the right length and this part of the river simply beautiful. And we had a pub lunch as well of course. We'll be back with friends. Thanks for the lovely experience Glyn!

What a delightful way to spend an hour at the river. We weren't aware of the river trips when we stopped in to have tea and coffee at the Grove Pantry Pub and Inn, but it seemed a wonderful thing to do while we built up an appetite for our lunch. Even better, you are welcome to take drinks from... More

We had such a lovely morning out. My son is disabled and I find that we always get a very warm welcome and they are very understanding of my sons needs. I would highly reccommend this attraction.

An amazing day out on the river, lovely boat and the staff were incredibly kind to my disabled son who has cerebral palsy, they couldn't have helped more. They were, kind, courteous and helpful for the entire journey. It's sad to see the previous comment was so negative, I'm sure it must have been meant with the kindest of intentions... More

having booked a trip with a friend and explained I was disabled, I was gobsmacked that when I hesitated stepping down on to the boat, I was rudely told to 'come on your not the only one you know'. ( I assume this referred to my being disabled but as no-one asked what my disability was , I fail to... More

Fantastic trip today with my daughter, we were lucky to have the boat to ourselves. Lots to see, damsel flies, Dragon flies, moorhens, Coors, fish, swans, cows etc. Skipper gave us some handy guides to identify the birds, etc. Also given lots of information during the trip. Best to sit at the front and just enjoy!

We were lucky enough to win tickets, in the Big Kent Weekend, for a Grove Ferry River Trip so we only had to pay £5 for our little girl to come along. Our choice of trip was 11am and we travelled toward Sarre. Sadly we didn't see any Kingfishers but did see plenty of other interesting birds flying close by... More

If you want an hour of peace and relaxation on a beautiful section of river, just step aboard this lovely boat. We were welcomed aboard and put at ease immediately by the friendly skipper, Peter, who made the trip even more enjoyable with his information on the river, and awareness of the wildlife. What a treat to spot two kingfishers... More

For us and many other reviewers but I did feel sorry for the 3pm trip today with a nightmare screaming child .. Blame the incompetent parents not the children . I hope their fellow passengers try it again and experience the peace and enjoyment of the river that we did . The tide was too high to go upstream to... More

Took this trip with my wife and two grandchildren. We were the only passengers at 12 o/c so went upriver under the bridge then turned back and went to a mariner. Our skipper chatted to all of us and pointed out places of interest, he is very knowledgeable and friendly. He also let the boys have a go at steering... More
