The beach is clean and the waters were calm, great for Jet ski. But the beach sand is not of fine sand.

My wife and kids went there twice already two years in a row for our wedding anniversary. The place is easy to find about 2.5 hours from Manila. You have to book in advance. The rooms are clean and neat and the food included in the psckage was delicious. I wish they had some evening activities like a small band... More

Loved this place. There are better ones out there but not many, and none of the competitors can boast lower prices on accommodations and food. The staff; simply awesome. They go the extra mile for you and truly want to make sure you are happy. I had a bad experience in one of the rooms, and the way the staff... More

Laiya is the south-easternmost portion of Batangas facing Tayabas Bay, known for white-sandy beaches with many resorts offering accommodation and day-tour packages. Going there is a long drive via SLEX and Star Tollway exiting Lipa City, then proceed eastward towards Padre Garcia and San Juan Batangas. Another option is the Sto.Tomas Batangas-Lucena Highway passing San Pablo, Tiaong, and Candelaria going... More

Laiya Beach is a long stretch of beach with plenty of resorts to choose ranging from no rating to 5 star rating. Do canvas first prior to booking to avoid inconvenience. Some resorts do not have 24 hour restaurant so you have to bring your food to cook while others offer at a very high price.

Before you head to the beach, do pass by the San Juan market. There's plenty of local fruits of the season, fresh tuna for grilling, the delicious puto! and tamales, pinipig, and do not forget Batangas coffee (ground or beans).

I brought my family and friends to Laiya, San Juan Batangas as recommended by a friend of an in law. It was a long drive from Manila but short enough for 15 people to enjoy in such short notice. The beach sand was white and clean, the water was clear and temperature was cool throughout the day even if the... More

If you are looking for a place to unwind but do not want to travel beyond Luzon area, Laiya would be a good option. Clean and clear, good for swimming. You just need to pick a good spot or resort. Better to gon on a weekday as weekends are usually crowded.

I am a traveller and I have been to so many places here in the Philipines but this is the most horrible beach resort I have ever been in my life and I would never ever recommend Moonlight Beach Resort in Laiya. We went here last sunday May 3 2014 for a group of 14 and we're all disappointed on... More

Water good for swimming. Hotels and resorts available for groups and couples. Not so much activities going on but you can do banana boat, jetski, snorkeling. Jetski operated by strict staff at 4,500pesos an hour. Food at La Luz resort is better than Blue Coral which has a set of menu you don't wish to go back to at a... More
