Went with my 9month old son who loved the all the decorations and lights in the barn. There were a variety of different animals in pens as you walked through. My son loved being able to interact with the animals in a leisurely pace as we went midweek. We went through to see Santa and he was lovely. He personalised... More

Father Christmas has asked me to forward his thanks for your kind review, he said that he really does enjoy meeting all our young visitors and simply loves to hear of all their request (even if they are only 9 months old) All the staff at Longdown Activity Farm wishes you a very Merry Christmas and look forward to meeting... Visited the Christmas barn again this year with my 4 year old. Barn looks nice with Christmas lights & daughter loved the animals. Santa was lovely and spent an amount of time talking to her, she was thrilled! Would recommend.

Thank you for your kind words, it has always been our aim at Longdown to ensure that Father Christmas spends some time speaking to the children, after all he only meets up with them once year. We are pleased that you enjoyed your visit and hope that we will see you during the season next year. More

Thank you so much for your very kind words. All the staff at Longdown Activity Farm simply enjoy Christmas and they work extremely hard to make it so very special to all our visitors, the smiling and excitement of the children makes their efforts so worth while, however to obtain positive comments on Trip advisor is an added bonus! Me and my daughter love the farm, we've had season tickets for 2 years running now which speaks volumes! I don't know who loves feeding the baby goats and calves more, me or my 3 year old but we always have a good day out there and there's lots to do if you join in with all the feeding and... More

Well what can we say, a very big thank you to this contributor who realises that Longdown Activity Farm is a real farm with real animals to feed, we also agree that we are not a concrete jungle either. We really do appreciate constructive comments and thank our visitors for taking the time to express their views. Once again many... More

We had a family trip here - four adults, a baby and our 2 year old grandson - who loved it. Under 3's are free and there is also a reduction for over 60's. It is a working farm, with educational links to Brockenhurst College, so there's a student presence, helping with the farm work and the various visitor activities.... More

Thank you for your kind words relating to your visit to Longdown Activity farm, we are very pleased that you enjoyed your day, I only wish you could see the list of correspondence that has been sent to Hampshire County Council regarding the safety of Deerleap Lane, however warning signs have been placed along side the car park entrance, so... We love this farm!! We have had a season ticket for the past three years and would recommend a visit. I have read some of the reviews and agree that it is "smelly" and "dirty" but ITS A FARM. Put on the waterproofs/ wellies and clothes that you dont mind getting dirty and crack on. Its wonderfully interactive and it... More

We had a family trip here with my 2 year old niece and she loved it. Under 3's are free to enter and there is also an over 60 reduction in fee. It was well worth the fee. It is a working farm so wellies\boots are a must at this time of year. You can feed the goats, pigs, ducks... More

I have the pleasure of holding a season ticket to longdown, the first year I have bought one, and due to my young daughters animal obsession I currently go every week. Every time we have managed to do something different, which says so much about the place - feeding calves, goats, pigs, ducks, grooming goats, finding eggs, playgrounds, running round... More

We've brought our boys here a few times, and know other families that are regular visitors. It is a working farm, not a petting zoo, so you will want wellies and wet wipes and need to be prepared to put up with smells and things. There's lots of activities for the kids (and big kids), nearly all revolve around feeding... More
