We visited the farm with our grandchildren. Lovely friendly staff who were so helpful and able to answer any questions we had. Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. They held chicks and groomed rabbits and especially loved the feeding of the goats and calves. We did pay a little extra for the pony rides and the amazing face painting.... More

This Easter school hols I went her with a 5 and 8yr old. I was so disappointed. Entry is quite expensive, we arrived at 12.30 had a quick look at the guinea pigs and chicks before joining the tractor queue. Waiting was 50mins, we missed the first display and decided we should join the pony ride, over an hour later... More

This is not a huge farm and you would probably struggle to fill a day there particularly with older children. The soft play is fine but again, not huge. The children get to hold chicks and stroke some of the smaller animals which they enjoy. We did this on the same day as the New Forest Wildlife Park which is... More

It was so lovely to see animals in a nice, relaxed, natural looking environment. All very very clean, plenty of food and water available. The children were able to get up close and personal with chicks, goats and giant rabbits in the Animanl Encounter. The highlight of the day was giving bottles of milk to the baby goats ! We... More

Visited for the first time with my goddaughter (who turned out to be my guide for the day, as she had been there before). I wasn't sure what to expect but as an animal lover it was lovely to see animals looking healthy and in nice clean pens, we didn't expect to stay so long but did venture into the... More

Thank you for your kind words, Longdown Activity farm is still a real working farm and most of our visitors enjoy the chance of having a true experience of being close to the animals, the staff work extremely hard in making each visitors visit memorable, I will pass on your message to them. Once again thank you for taking the... More

Having recently moved to the local I visit often with my Child. Sometimes friends tag along BUT the cost for a “supervising” adult is a little high in my view (as they are only walking around watching the kids) Still it’s a honest experience for the kids regardless of the weather, lots to do & see, but it is a... Very disappointed with our visit. Cost of over £20 for 2 adults and our 3 year old. No feeding took place as advertised. Lots of pens empty. No-one to help with questions about the animals. Toy tractors too heavy for all the children we saw trying to ride them. Very shabby. Toilets not clean and in a portaloo type cabin.... More

We are always pleased to receive constructive comments, however it is concerning when comments are completely inaccurate: The daily activities of feeding the animals happen every day that we are open regardless to the weather, during the colder months the animals are kept inside for their comfort therefore the paddocks are allowed to rest - it would be very cruel... We visited the farm at the weekend, we found it to be very informative and a great place to see a good variety of animals. We especially liked the interactive parts, like feeding the baby goats and petting the small animals. There was a well stocked cafe on site and also a large picnic area with more than enough things... More

We took our daughter here at the weekend for her first trip to see some animals. I appreciate it was the end of half term, but the car park really was rammed, with people creating their own spaces to park in and making it incredibly difficult to drive around and maneouver. It is a very small car park and I... More

We visited the farm yesterday and to be honest I was a bit worried about taking my Daughter and two of her friends because of their ages 7 and 9. I have always visited Longdown even when my eldest daughter who is now 16 was younger. We all had a really good time and even though I feel certain things... More
