We were camping nearby so came one of the days with the kids. We paid 26 pounds for 2 adults and a child and to be honest for this price we expected much more, the farm is small, not many animals, i mean lots of ducks, chickens and goats, pigs and cows and thats it. Nothing else which is a... More

Whilst on holiday in Blackwood forest we decided to get out for a few hours. I have been going to longdown activity farm for years, my eldest child (17)has fond memory's of coming here in her younger days so time for her younger siblings (9,8&4)to experience it. Entry prices are good value, all the staff are friendly and answer any... More

We had a pleasant time at the farm, but would only be likely to visit it rarely, say every two or three years. It was comparatively expensive at £30 for a family ticket for four and the pony rides cost £3-50 for a very short ride. You also needed to pay for some of the other rides and activities. With... We had a fantastic day at Longdown with our 4 and 7 year olds - so many feeding activities, a chance to hold chicks and stroke animals, the tractor ride was great fun and plenty of non-animal activities - the trampolines were particularly popular with our two. Also food and drink and shop items were all very reasonably priced -... More

I absolutely adore animals, especially baby animals, so I was over the moon to visit the farm! The weather that day was lovely and we spent a good 4 hours walking round the farm and taking part in the feeding activities! We bottle-fed kid goats, pet chicks, rabbits and calves and observed the newly born piglets. The farm was very... More

My boyfriend and I visited Longdown Activity Farm last week as were camping for the week at the nearby campsite in Ashurst. The farm itself is set out well and provides easy access for wheelchairs and buggies. Great place to take children (although we werent with any) and there was a local school visiting while we were there - lots... More

We are pleased to hear that this contributor enjoyed the day at Longdown, although we are slightly surprised that they felt that there was not 'much for adults to do' with over 150 goats to bottle feed and 22 calves eagerly waiting for their milk, plus chicks and rabbits to stroke, even the hungry pigs and ducks and of course...
