Expensive but a great experience in live animal feeding

We visited the farm with our great niece and nephew of two and one and our dog. For obvious reasons the dog was not allowed on the farm, but they provide kennels in the shade (brilliant idea). We visited in July. It wasn't too expensive to get in and the children were free being under three years. They have a... More

We had a fantastic family day out today at longdown farm, my 4 year old daughter said it was the best day of the holiday ever. During our visit she got to hand feed, calves, goats, baby goats, pigs and ducks. She was also allowed to hold rabbits, guinea pigs, chicks and piglets. She rode ponies and a very bumpy... More

We recently visited here to meet Father Christmas and had a fantastic trip. We were greeted with a beautiful setting and a handful of animals. My little boy loved holding a cute chic and adored feeding the goats some of Santa's hay. The prices to visit are not expensive and you get a lot for the price. We have visited... More

My kids love it here: baby animals, soft play, trampolines and tractor rides. You get to feed a different animal every hour and during term time it is lovely and quiet. Definitely worth an annual pass if you live nearby. They also do a great Xmas/Santa barn with the most realistic Santa I have ever seen although you can't book... More

I've visited Longdown today and have to say how great the whole experience was. The lady in the shop was welcoming and friendly. They had a great selection of snacks and drinks. The Christmas Barn itself was briliant - so traditional, as a proper visit to Santa should be. My daughter loved seeing the animals, holding the chick and the... More

This was the best Santa I've ever seen!!! The grotto at Longdown is wonderful. The whole experience took over an hour, but all the time in the queue there was things for the children to do. Once in the barn there was even more!! Chick holding, a donkey, geese and goats to stroke. But the best bit was going in... More

We visited today and had a wonderful time. The farm is closed but there was an amazing Christmas barn with lots for little ones to do including activities, animals, a nativity and finally Father Christmas. It wasn't very busy perhaps because of the weather and due to it being the first day, which was a bonus especially when you have... More
