Looking for something to do with my 3 children (13, 11 and 8) while staying in County Clare this summer we decided to try surfing with the Aloha Surf School. They surfed everyday and had a fantastic time. It made our holiday! The instructors made the first lessons of surfing very fun and now hopefully they will have a lifetime... More

My early teen kids surfed with this surf school 4 days last week in Co Clare. The daily rate goes down the more you use the school which was a great incentive. We didn't, however, need this incentive as we had such a good experience. Booking was easy flexible and the person running the school, Peter, was very helpful and... More

We are complete surfing beginners and spent a fantastic few hours at Aloha Surf School. Fanore is a beautiful beach, perfect spot to spend a day. We were blessed with stunning, hot weather (yes, hot!) but little wind or waves - highly unusual! So after learning the surfing basics, we also got to try out the stand up paddle boards... More

The team of Aloha Surf School is very flexible, spontaneous, friendly and competent. Had my first Surf lesson ever with Phil, there were three of us and he really knew to teach us the basics and gave us an insightful idea of the fun of surfing. They offer wetsuits, gloves, shoes and the exercise will keep you warm also on... More

Thanks for choosing to surf with us at Aloha. We're lucky to have shower and changing facilities at our beach, but now at the surf school we also have a dedicated facility we run from with hot showers, changing rooms, chill out area etc. Surfing in Ireland has gotten cosy! Thanks again for the nice review and hopefully we'll see... More

We got a voucher for surf lessons as a gift. I was never particularly interested in trying surfing as I'm not a strong swimmer, and the thought of getting in to the sea in an Irish August was'nt appealing. However, the wet suits that were supplied kept me pretty warm, and the instruction we were given was great. Had a... More

We had a great day with Pete of Aloha who took us on a Sea Safari around Ballyvaughan. Our two girls (aged 6 & 9) had a ball (so did their parents). In addition to supplying all gear and great tuition he managed to arrange perfect weather - blue skies and calm waters. The seals came to check us out,... More
