This place is in Pulau Ubin. While you spend a whole day in the island, you should check this as well. Really nice to have a walk above the sea, you can hear the sound of waves and have a different view for Singapore. Bikes have to be left out.

A nice place to visit But nothing special to those who have already visited similar places. The only attractions to my opinion is the Mangrove trees with their unique roots and when the tide is low- then you can see how looks like the underwater surface.

The place is great. Well maintained without touching the nature. One can spend the evening seeing the water on the jetty with nice wind blowing. Good for couple as well as family visit. You get the drinks vending machine. The retreat house built long time back during colonial era is also a good place to visit. Happy Experiencing Life !!!

A really nice place, easy to acces due to the boardwalk. And the outlook is close as well, a nice shady place but the boardwalk was quite short.

Good to stroll around and get some fresh air, especially over the water on the boardwalk. Mangrove boardwalk is currently under construction. Did not see viewing jetty. The jagah is adamant about not bringing bikes into the area, so park it outside at your own risk!

Really nice place to visit on Ubin with many different ecosystems in one area. The walk around Chek Jawa does not take too long and is a great addition to the island

Take a trip to Chek Jawa, Pulau Ubin for a walk down memory lane. Easy to get to (just head for the ferry terminal at Changi Point) and take a bum-boat across for S$2.50 per person. There will be drivers waiting just as you disembark to take you to the northern tip of the island. Price is about $20 and... More

Well worth the effort - the bike ride wasn't too hard really but because it was the middle of the day and I am of a mature age I did struggle a bit with the long slopes on the way back, mainly due to the humidity. The old houses along the way and the house near the jetty were a... More

Beautiful, not so long walk! Partly unshaded. We shared the ride to get to the actual place. $12 one way. Or you can hire a bike. There is jetty too.
