If you are in Costa Rica or planning to go and have a little extra Budget: definitely stay at least one night in this amazing tree house! This was the absolute highlight of our trip and even worth more than you actually pay! You walk about 1/2 or 1 hour with Peter (the owner, architect and excellent guide - especially... More

Without a doubt Peters treehouse was a life changing experience. He is unbelievably knowledgable about the jungle...taking the time to talk to me about the importance of preserving primary forest. The house itself is magical. Howler monkeys, toucans, morpho butterflies, red frogs just to name a few things you see! You would be crazy not to do this! I will... More

Peter's tree house experience is by far the best accommodation I have stayed in across the globe. His genuine care for the preservation of rainforest and ecosystems is refreshing and his enthusiasm in contagious. We spent the night and could of stayed for a week. A blissful retreat where you can sit back, watch nature unfold a have a glass... More

My daughter and I stayed in the treehouse, Sept. 2014, for an overnight. It was everything that we hoped for and more. From our first meeting with Peter to our goodbyes, it was truly special. Peter is a gracious host, and Jason his assistant is so very sweet and fun, and sincerely loves his job. Peter is very interesting and... More

One of my favorite adventures in the jungle. Peter and Jason are absolutely lovely and I adore the concept of the treehouse..where Peter created a great spot to watch the Wilde life without damaging the nature. It's a beautiful and exciting trip through the jungle with an incredible view.

I visited this place in August 2014 with my boyfriend. I heard about this treehouse before, but I could not imagine how it looks like, where it is. Then we met Peter and he took us there. First you walk trough the jungle. You can spot lots of colourfull frogs and other animals. Peter tells you many interesting facts about... More

I visited this amazing treehouse in June with my friend. We really enjoyed the walk through primary rainforrest while observing unique species of animals and plants which our guide showed us. And Peter, the owner, was really friendly to us. I can highly recommend this experience and the town on Manzanillo is definitely worth visiting as well!

We spent a night in the Observatorio in February 2013. After a great nature walk in with a family from Germany, we all spent an hour or so in the treehouse together, then Peter took the family for the rest of their walk, and two of us stayed in the treehouse watching the macaws and listening to the howler monkeys... Based on positive reviews, I decided to check out the Nature Observatorio during a trip to the east coast. It's very, very cool - after a ~45-minute trek through the rainforest, during which Peter pointed out animals large and small, we arrived at the Observatorio. We rappelled up, and Peter explained that much rainforest life is up in the tree... More
