Guillermo is a very friendly, laid back and knowledgeable dive instructor. Even though it was only me who signed up for diving that day, he decided to go out and I had a couple of great dives. Very quite and relaxed place. Dive sites are very close, only a few minutes by boat, and the equipment is in good condition.

Guillermo was very knowledgable, very flexible, an excellent instructor, fun dive master. Nice laid back facility. Knew the local area extremely well. Very eco conscious. Convenient to be able to shower afterwards in fresh water. Fruit snacks at noon. Resident sloth and baby in one of the trees. Great to be able to do beach dives and boat dives from... More

We found they were a fun crew to dive with but serious enough for safety concerns. We loved the dives on the old volcano and the sight of the earthquake where the plate has moved a few metres high, from an earthquake. Real cool as we have never seen this in our many years of diving. Beautiful warm water and... More

My boyfriend and I completed our advanced open water certification here and had a blast! The equipment is all top notch and brand new. Guillermo, our instructor, was awesome! We hadn't dove in a year and were a little nervous at first. Guillermo made us feel completely safe and patiently reviewed techniques that we had learned during our open water... More

Very poor dive equipment, boat, dive leader, diving conditions, and the boat lost us after the dive. We were floating in the ocean for quite some time in the hot sun after the dive while the boat tried to find us. Inexcusable.

Stopped in to see about renting snorkel equipment and was basically ignored by the staff. They weren't interested I making any money that day so I left and went down the road to a shop in Manzanillo run by a very nice couple from Holland. Don't waste your time with this operation, rude and indifferent is no way to treat... More

During our three-week Costa Rica trip we did our PADI open water diver in Punta Uva dive center. As first-time divers we felt very save with the dive instructor Guillermo who is a very nice and competent guy. He did the practical lessons under water exclusively for the two of us. So we had enough time for doing the exercises.... More

I had not dived since my certification dive over a year ago and was looking for a dive center that I felt comfortable with and would offer me a private dive. Guillermo was always prompt in answering my emails. He understood my situation and my nervousness. He supplied all I needed to feel comfortabe, including an english speaking dive master... More

We were two friends who wanted to do the Padi scuba diving sertification, but we did not have many days to spare. Guillermo, the manager of the center, and our instructer, was very flexible, and helped us through all the dives necesary in two days. The "pool time", as all the other dives, were done in the wonderful, beautiful and... More
