We were lucky enough to visit on a clear dry day, unusual for early January and found the centre perfect for two young boys 7 and 8 to let off steam. First we visited the animal enclosures where the children could get up close to pigs, chickens, goats and ducks, then called in to Creepy Crawly World and marvelled at... More

I don't know who was more excited about this trip, my godson or me! We had timed seats for santa & sat on hay bales while a wonderfully jolly santa cracked jokes for all and it was way more fun than a traditional grotto. The animals were a delight and I got to live out my childhood Charlotte's Web fantasy... More

What a great place to take our 5 and 2 year old grandchildren to see Santa. Too many good things to mention here. Great value for a whole day of keeping them entertained.

Absolutely wonderful. This was my surprise birthday present and I couldn't have been more delighted. In fact, I was enraptured!! I would fully recommend the half, or full day. Colin the Falconer is a font of knowledge and is obviously passionate about the birds and their well-being. If anyone wants a really 'feelgood' day out, this is a must. Also,... More

I visited here with my 10 month old daughter for the first time, along with my parents and in laws. I thought that the majority of the animals looked very well cared for, but when we got to the big pigs, 2 staff were attempting to put a tag through the pigs ear. One had a twitch in its mouth... Thank you for your recent review. We take all feedback very seriously, and are always looking for ways to improve our visitor experience. We’re very sorry that you found the pigs being tagged a particularly distressing experience. We are aware that pigs can make a large amount of noise, and would like to reassure you that this is a normal... More

We visited the Rare Breeds farm today to celebrate a young family member's birthday. It was a very enjoyable day. All the animals were well cared for and their pens were lined with fresh bedding. The barn was used as a area for young and old to stroke the animals and there was plenty of adult supervision. The site is... More

I visited the Rare Breeds today with my toddler son... Wasn't sure what it would be like due to it being November - wow... It was amazing! Due to older kids being back at school it was lovely and quiet with only a few little ones running around - we was informed at the admissions gate about events and times... More

This is a favourite attraction for my family. The site is beautiful and vast and a great deal of imagination has gone into the activities on offer. Three generations enjoyed a wonderful day out including the Birds of Prey group experience where we learnt about these beautiful creatures and enjoyed the thrill of flying them. The falconry trainer was highly... More

We've been coming on holiday to this part of Kent every year for the last 10 years with our kids and we've done everything. All in all, this was hands down the best day out we've ever had. The place is incredibly friendly and well organized with a great range of animals and activities - my kids ( 8 and... More
