Was a superb afternoon at the Rare Breeds Centre. Hadn't been for about 5 years but delighted to have returned. Plenty of interesting animal related activities. Last year we visited in the heat of summer with our grandson, this year we've gone back with our other two grandchildren as well as our son and daughter. It is a great place, animals, petting area, tractor ride, falconry display, butterfly area, and lots of walks and play areas for the children, and a display of owls and hawks.... More

So much to do at this Rare Breeds Centre ... 3 children , one with special needs really enjoyed themselves... lots of lovely animals, birds , butterflies...tractor rides ... an enormous playground for all ages... definately will be back and would recommend... Took my 1yr old Grand Daughter for the day this was our first visit. This is a rare breeds centre that is run by a trust and very helpful staff with a restaurant and 2 cabins all different animals from cows to geese with snakes and lizards butterflies in a tropical house with a fantastic bird of prey show

Went today with 14and7year old. Had a lovely day. Boys enjoyed themselves, tractor ride, pig racing, building a den. We took our own picnic but the food looked good.
