I visited here with my 10 month old daughter for the first time, along with my parents and in laws. I thought that the majority of the animals looked very well cared for, but when we got to the big pigs, 2 staff were attempting to put a tag through the pigs ear. One had a twitch in its mouth... We visited the Rare Breeds farm today to celebrate a young family member's birthday. It was a very enjoyable day. All the animals were well cared for and their pens were lined with fresh bedding. The barn was used as a area for young and old to stroke the animals and there was plenty of adult supervision. The site is... More

I visited the Rare Breeds today with my toddler son... Wasn't sure what it would be like due to it being November - wow... It was amazing! Due to older kids being back at school it was lovely and quiet with only a few little ones running around - we was informed at the admissions gate about events and times... More

This is a favourite attraction for my family. The site is beautiful and vast and a great deal of imagination has gone into the activities on offer. Three generations enjoyed a wonderful day out including the Birds of Prey group experience where we learnt about these beautiful creatures and enjoyed the thrill of flying them. The falconry trainer was highly... More

We've been coming on holiday to this part of Kent every year for the last 10 years with our kids and we've done everything. All in all, this was hands down the best day out we've ever had. The place is incredibly friendly and well organized with a great range of animals and activities - my kids ( 8 and... More

I took my family inc 4 year old neice for their special day in the summer holiday, and it was one of the best days out that I have ever enjoyed. There is so much to do here, its unbelievable. The special events just added to the day and the pig race was hysterical. This really is a very special... More

Over priced poor quality food and hygiene leaves a lot to be desired as well as the attitude of the staff give this a miss and take a... More

September we visited the centre in lovely sunshine. There was so much for the children to do, age 2.5 and 5 yrs old. We spent the whole day there meeting the animals. The play barn was excellent for the children to meet the animals close up. The rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks and chickens were there to play, all very used... More

Spent a lovely few hours at the centre. It has a farmyard feel with pigs, sheep and chickens galore. There's lots for children to do but it's just as much fun for animal-loving adults. A very decent cafe/restaurant with good choice of food and plenty of seating. We even got to interact with some of the animals including piglets and... More
