A wonderful green oasis tucked away behind the central High Street in Bromley just beyond the Churchill Theatre. T large sandpit with slides becomes a haven for parents with young children. Bring along some bread to feed the ducks swanning around in the small lake. The Gardens was well kept and clean.

Having recently moved to the area, I was out exploring when I stumbled on the Church House Gardens. Set on a hillside, I like to start from the top and work my way down to come out next to the Churchill Theatre. Beautiful gardens and packed full of squirrels and birds of all sorts. It’s a nice walk and you... More

My one year old loves playing in the sandpit. She can pretend that she is on holiday at the beach. There are lots of trees so one can sit on the grass in the shade on a sunny day. You have to go down a very steep hill to get to the park area so need to muster up Lots... More

Was looking for a park for the grandchildren without the worry of dogs off their leashes as most parks in Bromley seem to be. Was recommended this and it's a little gem. Not local to where the kids live but worth the bus journey. Huge sandpit, play area, duck pond etc. A steep hill down then back up from the... More

Visited to relive where we used to play as children. Gardens very like they were 50+ years ago but now have a good play area and skate board park where the boating lake used to be. Pleased to say the ducks and geese were still there too.

I recently took my neices (aged 7 and 9) here and I have to say it was a real surprise how lovely it is there! There's a sandpit and play area for small children and then big slides down to a playground for slightly older children. There's also a small skate park and a couple of tennis courts. It's a... Located just a short walk from the town centre, and open from 7:30am weekdays, this park provides a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. There are two play areas for very young children, a sand pit and a play area with lots of equipment. For older children there are basketball and tennis courts, as well... More

I have visited this park many many times since the 1950s, it has changed somewhat, there is no longer a bandstand or a boating pond, but the main pond/lake is still in situ, the toilet facilities have improved over the years, if they have not been closed down recently!!! There are a number of pleasant walks through the park leading... More

This park is hidden away down the back of the Churchill Theatre. It is an attractive area and good for children. Worth a visit.
