Like one of the previous reviews, we were here to hold a BBQ as a surprise party for a friend - we were at Benham Bushes (or something similar) and there was no signage. We popped in and asked and the staff were very friendly The BBQ site itself had a Field Shelter, BBQ, porta loo and several benches placed... More

We came through the Park as part of our SDW holiday. What a peaceful place. We stopped at the cafe for a mid morning drink after leaving Buriton. We also managed to get provisions for our lunch as there are no shops in Buriton. We were served by a very friendly kiwi, who said we could have sandwiches filled with... More

Great park set in the South Downs National Park area. Good walks and trails. Always enjoy getting up on top of Butser Hill and the views of the Solent are fantastic on a clear day

Great day out when we eventually found where we had to be for a surprise party, a lot of us driving round the park because Cannonball bbq not marked up, consequently the birthday girl whose surprise it was saw guests who were trying to find the venue on her way in. In the end had to ask at centre, and... More

We arrived off the cuff one Saturday afternoon and although it was busy we found a field to park up in (charge was reasonable think about £3 for the whole day) and found a great spot to have our picnic. The field was well looked after and although there were lots of dogs we didn't see any mess anywhere which... More

We love walking here as a family, with and without the dog. We always do the long track which takes a couple of hrs to complete. It does get busy at times but doesn't feel crowded. Lovely to finish walk with a cuppa and cake in the cafe.

Lovely open space and wooded areas. Well kept parkland and nice cafe in the main car park. Shame the shop on the Butser Hill side never seems to be open.

We love coming up here to walk our dogs. Has always seemed very quiet even when the car parks are full. Feels a million miles away from the motorway. Only gripe is the £3 parking fee for over an hour. Often stopped off at the café for a cuppa after, they could do with more seating especially in the warmer... More
