Lovely underused beauty spot, wide open spaces and barbecue bases for sunny days and leafy walks in the autumn and winter months. Good for bikes and dog walking too.

What can I say about QEP.....just my most favourite place to walk my dog and share quality time with hubby. We usually get there early in the morning, before the rest of the crowd are up and about, take various routes around the park (we are very familiar with this place so can change routes depending on mood). It is... More

Had a great picnic on a lovely sunny day sat on top of Butser Hill, great views, just wish they would make the parking charge more reasonable.

We spent a nicel few hours just walking along the paths through the forest, in parts some of the hills were quite challenging but great exercise , the cycling routes looked like fun but hard work... There is a great picnic and BBQ area at the top by the large top carpark. The one thing that needed attention was the... More

An excellent Country Park easy to find with lots of walking for all levels also worth visiting Butser Hill which is very close on the other side of the A3 there is an underpass provided as safe access due the speed of traffic using the busy A3. Also worth buying the map with detailed routes of the paths through the... More

The walks are well thought out and caters for all levels of fitness. My only complaint is that there aren't enough "obvious" signposts so have ended up losing my way on several occasions! The map in the shop detailing all of the routes on foot and cycle paths is excellent and only costs £1! Would recommend!

When visiting Queen Elizabeth Country Park don't forget to visit Butser Hill which is just the other side of the A3, use the underpass for a safe crossing and attempt the hill. Or if you booked in advance use one of the BBQ areas for a great fun time. Make the most of the British summer and get out.

Absolutly lovely place to visit and take a walk around. Loads of trails and a excellent visitors centre. Plenty of picnic areas but a severe lack of benches. You can reserve a BBQ plot (must call beforehand). Staff are always polite and informative with a lovely cafe that sells home made cakes and cream teas If you love country walks... More
