Yes its a family place, but there are some good trails in a decent area for MTBers. Lots of work gone into thsi place over the past few years. OK, its not Afan by a long way, but good for a few hours hacking around. Featured in a MBR mag in 2013 I think. Good facilities on site. I would... More

This is a great place for all the family, lovely walks, views and facilities. Plenty to do for children of all ages - mountain bike riding is popular here. There is also a large car park and many activities taking place all through the year. Well worth a visit for a fun familyday out.

I visited today with my young daughter, and so glad we did. I chose to take us on the longer "red foot" route, which is about 5 miles. The initial climb from the car park is not a true reflection of the rest of the walk! Once you've got your breath back, you can take a steady stroll along the... More

What an amazing place, I first went here as a 12 year old and still love it as a 31/2 year old! Plenty of amazing views, hidden roman ruins, pic-nic/bbq areas, amazing cafe/gift shop and wildlife. It's a must for couples, dog owners, photographers, ramblers and families. I don't know how you could fail to like the QECP, make sure... More

we came here on the off chance one Sunday and were very pleasantly surprised. it was a lovely calm place to visit, not too much commercialization and lots of space to run and play. For the adults there was a food market in one part, which was interesting but defintly not the best bit. High up in the trees they... More

We took the dogs here on Saturday whilst staying in the local area. Nice walks although some tracks are challenging, ideal open spaces for kids. Picnic and bar-b-q area and a well stocked shop and little café selling hot and cold drinks, cakes and ice-cream. A good place to visit if your into cycling, horse riding or just enjoy getting... Having had the Hampshire passport forthe last 2 years and not been before I feel ashamed! Some lovely walks. My 3 and half year old managed the short walk. Lots of butterflies and dragonflies to which we were all delighted. A nice little play area for youngsters. We then had lunch. Wow! Very pleased. Eaten with same company at the... More

Good facilities. Stopped off while on 3 day walk with friends on South Downs Way. Extra craft activities for children looked fun.

It is an excellent place to have a walk, a cycle or a horse ride in the South Downs National Park. Great for families with children or groups of friends, as it offers a number of picnic areas along all the routes.
