I read the good reviews here and had high hopes. But this is a cattle boat type of dive op. I’m surprised we weren’t branded with a number as we got on the boat. Mooo! Before you even get on the boat, the experience of lining up to get your bag tag and then lining up to get your equipment... More

From the on-line booking process, the helpful in store staff, through to the dives themselves, Dive Tutukaka were exceptional. The trip out and back was a little choppy, but you can't help that. Once at the Poor Knight Islands, the captain decided on 2 exceptional dive spots, which were calm and full of an abundance of sea life and unique... More

I did the snorkeling tour with some friends on March 19. The equipment was clean and in good condition. The sights were amazing. The water is so clear and the wildlife is plentiful. I'd recommend wearing the wetsuit unless it is an especially warm day. There is plenty to see even if you don't get in the water.

The boat and staff were excellent. Informative and professional and I felt safe and welcome. The crew were engaging and there was a mix of students and adult passengers and the integrated and accommodated both groups very well. Location was stunning and ability to get in to the water and experience these amazing Kiwi sights was breathtaking. Food good for... More

The boat ride there and back was a bit choppy, but so worth it. This was our first time diving in non-tropical waters, and the professional staff made it into a smooth transition. There were many people on the boat, but we were divided into smaller groups so it did not feel crowded during the dive. Safety was a priorety,... More

I had a great day diving the Poor Knights Islands! My diveguide, Cam from Dive Tutukaka were professional and fun to dive with. He is a marine biology student, and knows a lot about all the marine life. A perfect diveguide! The rest of the team were also great. Dive Tutukaka is a big operator, but everything went smoothly. Would... More

Whatever your skill level it seems that this crew know how to ensure you have a great day on the water. I had a spare day after a conference up North and decided to go snorkling. Bookings were easy with a good level of information provided and some handy tips on what to bring. I was alone on the day... More

My husband and I loved this snorkeling experience. We saw dolphins, went snorkeling, kayaking and tried paddle boarding. My husband did get sick on the boat though, so we might not be doing a lot of boat activities in the future.
