For a city that charges so much for everything the marina is disappointing. This is the entry point for all of the small boats around the island and the first thing many people see of Marigot. It looked run down and most of the shops were boarded up or closed

The merchants and restaurants of Marina Port La Royale are engaged in slow suicide. They refuse to take action to preserve what was once the "most happening" place on the Island. Going down the tubes is an understatement. The streets around are not secure and you park and walk at your own risk, not a Gendarme or security person in... More

Still has some good resturants but not the vibrant place it used to be. The Tropicana is excellent but many resturants have closed. Still worth a trip though.

I would not waste time or money going here, did not feel safe and most of the restaurants I remember that were here are now abandoned and boarded up. We ate at one of the only two places open and it was mediocre at best.

Good selection of overpriced places to eat, a few boutiques and little shops and that's about it. You've gotta see it, if only for the view.

Had breakfast, walked through, can see ships and check out a couple of stores. Nothing exciting, but nothing wrong with it.

Bareboat chartered out of here. Enjoyed the restaurants. Great grocery store for provisioning (mainly drinks) Krishna Market is here. If you are clearing in or out by boat the customs office is here. Had two really great dinners here with some of the most fun waiters/waitresses that I have ever had the pleasure to share a meal with. The food... More

Nearby lot is not safe and not well policed. Robberies in the area. If they fix this long-standing problem, fine, but until then........
