Love the little restaurants and shops here. After lunch walk it off at the open air market. Very pleasant day off the beach.

Our husbands were given free drinks while us women shopped. When we arrived we were made a surprise drink. We ordered Pizza and was fabulous.

Cafe au lait and croissants are superb here. Today they were out of stock on pain au raisins so we had regular croissants which were superb.

Many US visitors had all but given up on visiting the marina in Maigot at night because of safety concerns. The place was not well lit, looked a bit rundown, and had shaky looking dudes prowling the parking lots begging for tips. Finally somebody in authority got the message! For the next seven Thursday nights (started Feb 5, 2015) there... More

I agree with the previous posts. This used to be a big draw in Marigot, lively promanade good shopping and restaurants. We went twice this holiday , once in the afternoon and again on an excursion (the Calypso dinner cruise) so no safety issues. Loved the restaurant Le Petite Auberge des Isles at the end of the dock. It should... More

My wife and I always hit the Marina at least one morning during our vacation. We enjoy casually walking and browsing the shops. My wife always finds a great new swimming suit at Lisette's and clothes at Annabelle's. Hope I spelled those right! We have never encountered any safety issues.

For a city that charges so much for everything the marina is disappointing. This is the entry point for all of the small boats around the island and the first thing many people see of Marigot. It looked run down and most of the shops were boarded up or closed

The merchants and restaurants of Marina Port La Royale are engaged in slow suicide. They refuse to take action to preserve what was once the "most happening" place on the Island. Going down the tubes is an understatement. The streets around are not secure and you park and walk at your own risk, not a Gendarme or security person in... More

Still has some good resturants but not the vibrant place it used to be. The Tropicana is excellent but many resturants have closed. Still worth a trip though.

I would not waste time or money going here, did not feel safe and most of the restaurants I remember that were here are now abandoned and boarded up. We ate at one of the only two places open and it was mediocre at best.
