Pulenta was our first winery visit in Mendoza, and it didn't disappoint. We generally enjoy wine tastings and tours, and this was no different. Though the place is small (and seems a bit pretentious when you first walk in) our host was down-to-earth and fun. The winery tours in the area were pretty much the same no matter where we... More

We had a nice tour through the factory and a really great tasting: before tasting wine, we blind-tested various smells such as chocolate, cinnamon, coconut, fruit jam, ... Amazing how difficult it is to recognize even well-known smells when you don't see what you smell... After that, we did the wine tasting and suddenly discovered so many more different notes... More

From the wineries we visit, Pulenta had the best tasting experience of all. First of all, you could choose the kind of wine you wanted to taste (or the price you wanted to pay). Then, the guy (Blas, who spoke a almost good Portuguese), took us outside with a glass of white Pinot Gris wine, and we could see the... More

I visited this very important winery with Pablo and Marcos and What a Delight it was? We were introduced to Javier Lo Forte, who is the wine maker and he led a very detailed wine tour for the three of us. The winery started out back in 2002 and has three buildings for fermentation, plus one building for bottling and... More

Wow excellent wine tour, every informative and professional tour. Loved the blind taste test of wine favors. This should be on your top choices for a wine tour when in the area. Excellent wines at a very good price should you want to take a case home with you.

I absolutely loved this bodega. The whole set up was perfect, and our guide, Connie, was knowledgeable and helpful. We loved her! She really answered our questions and was fun. I also loved the smell test. Was very different from other wineries. Highly recommend this place. Thank you Connie for everything! Besitos de California.

This winery is an absolute must visit! The incredibly beautiful backdrop against the Andes takes your breath away as much as their Cabernet Franc swoons you at the knees! We toured the with winery courtesy of the very knowledgeable and entertaining Connie. This really gave us a great background into the Pulenta story of the family business and history of... More

My friend and I just returned from 5 days in Mendoza, we visited about 11 wineries and Pulenta was by far our favorite! The experience can be broken down to 3 categories: quality of the tour, the wines, and the aesthetic quality of the bodega itself. The tour was incredible. Connie, our tour guide, was so good at explaining the... More

One of our favorite wineries in all of Mendoza! Unlike the giant Catena Zapata, Pulenta is warm, humble, passionate about their wines, moreover incredibly attentive & welcoming to all. Loved this bodega!!! Our tour guide was engaging, funny and offered great insight to their winemaking. They play a game with their guests, where they blind fold you to see if... More
