We did a tour at Pluenta and also sampled their wines in a private cellar room. It is a very pretty winery, and the tour was informative- they have some aging equipment that was new to me as a pretty seasoned wino. Our tour guide was great- she fit our vibe and made it all very relaxing and fun. But... More

We visited 14 wineries in 4 days while in Mendoza, and Pulenta was our absolute favorite. The tour was very well done, and we enjoyed all of their wine. We purchased several bottles to bring back with us and wished we could have ordered a case but the shipping is so expensive. My husband is really into Porsche, so we... More

Pulenta was one of the 10 wineries that I selected to visit. It caused me a strong good impression. The tour was very correct. The wines that imports, they are really exclusive. The Cab-Franc is a must! Unparalleled!

We tried several wineries in Mendoza, but we were impressed by Pulenta in particular, both for its history and for the wonderfully crafted wines we experienced there. Shame it is not possible to ship in the States. The hall is not magnificient as many other cellars, but wine is elegant and never overpowerful. 4 stars and a half!

Bit of a difficult one this as I can see how some people would really enjoy Pulenta and others might hate it. The tour was very good and the winery is certainly very impressive - combining elements of wine making with the slick, underground concrete bunkeriness of Dr No's lair in Thunderbolt. In all honesty the place is very impressive... More

We'd had a couple bottles of Pulenta elsewhere in Mendoza we really liked, and decided to tour the winery - which is a treat. Beautiful grounds, knowledgeable guides.

There are not enough positive adjectives to describe the experience at Pulenta. My girlfriend and I agreed that this was the highlight of our two days of tours in Mendoza. Our guide, Connie, was exceptionally knowledgeable and spoke excellent English, French, and Portuguese. I can barely speak English! The wines were delightful and we made several purchases. The estate is... More

Pulenta was our first winery visit in Mendoza, and it didn't disappoint. We generally enjoy wine tastings and tours, and this was no different. Though the place is small (and seems a bit pretentious when you first walk in) our host was down-to-earth and fun. The winery tours in the area were pretty much the same no matter where we... More

We had a nice tour through the factory and a really great tasting: before tasting wine, we blind-tested various smells such as chocolate, cinnamon, coconut, fruit jam, ... Amazing how difficult it is to recognize even well-known smells when you don't see what you smell... After that, we did the wine tasting and suddenly discovered so many more different notes... More

From the wineries we visit, Pulenta had the best tasting experience of all. First of all, you could choose the kind of wine you wanted to taste (or the price you wanted to pay). Then, the guy (Blas, who spoke a almost good Portuguese), took us outside with a glass of white Pinot Gris wine, and we could see the... More
