We made a last minute lunch appointment with the Dolium Winery while traveling into Lujan de Cuyo. We were in for a treat as we had the owner all to ourselves as he personally served us while carefully explaining the process at the only Subterranean Winery in Latin America. This was very cool to see as i am a fellow... More

I have been to several wineries in Mendoza and this is by far the best. The wines are fabulous for starters. The owner gave me an educational tour and tasting. I was completely wowed by the experience. It is a small boutique winery however the visit will be an experience. After a few tastings from both bottles and barrels, he... More

We were recommended by our B&B to have lunch at Dolium and our experience was fantastic. From the welcoming of the owner to the Italian style pasta to the great wines of bodega Dolium we felt at home and had a great time. Supporting these types of bodegas and getting to know wine that is less commercialized is definitely a... More

Amazing wine here. The owner took us on a tour of the winery, much smaller and more boutique than the other wineries that we visited. We were lucky enough to see the bottling machine in action. Then we did a beginners class to learn about wine with just my partner and myself. My partner who doesn't know much about wine... More

We visited four vineyards in Mendoza. This one was a definitely more personal than the others. Didnt feel rushed at all. It felt like the owner was really passionate about his livlihood and had all the time in the world to share his wines with us. He taught us how to taste, got us to compare between wines and then... My wife and I main interest is food and wine. Not quantity but quality. Marcelo from Modigliani Hotel being told we like small, ecofriendly, family run winery suggested we should visit Dolium. We went there on private visit and were met by Riccardo the owner. We have been making wine ourself for the last 35 years so the wine process... More

The owner personally greets you and has one of the best tastings available in Mendoza. Call first for an appointment and then enjoy an amazing tasting experience.

Most wineries we visited showed off their buildings, used a video to tell us that wine was invented by Dionysos and that Jesus Christ was the biggest wine maker of them all converting wine to water before giving us some ok-wines to taste. Not so Ricardo Dolium. At Bodega Dolium you will have a real wine tasting instead. The owner... More

My husband and I attended a tasting here on the advice of the concierge. It is a small winery run by a husband and wife team. We tasted at least 10 different wines and the tasting and tour was just the two of us. We received a lot of great insights on the different types of wine they produce and... More

I've been to wineries all over the world and this was truly an unforgettable experience. In fact this is the first time I've felt compelled to write a review. Ricardo was attentive and knowledgable; but more importantly made the tasting and experience relaxed and unstuffy. It was easy to learn and non threatening to ask questions about any part of...
