Beautiful, light, spacious and interesting museum. Even if you're not that interested in the military. And nature is all around. Don't forget to go up the belvedere. And friday is "nasi goreng" day, in the restaurant!!

An amazing museum. Well worth a visit if you like military museums. A variation of aircraft, tanks and general displays & exhibits. Everything has been carefully displayed for the visitor. Brilliant! The only downside is the public transport access which is poor. Up until my visit on 9th May, I had to get the bus from Amersfoort Centraal Station, then... More

After droging past the old entrance of the former military airfield in Soesterberg we were directed to the former Tarmac to park the car. The museum is situated in a new building. The collection of the military museum formerly based in Delft is moved there and displayed together with planes. You'll find you need an entire day to see all... More

Pretty new for a museum, but allready well known and well visited by all kinds of folks, families, veterans and tourists, it's not just all about military, also about nature and animals in the area. The building is very modern and the collection is huge and is displayed in a way you would not expect, there is interaction for the... More

The museum is only a few months old and was opened by the king in December 2014. We only had a couple of hours and mostly stuck to the main building and didn't visit all the special exhibition rooms. The architecture is modern and there are many excellent exhibits from Sherman tanks to a huge flying boat. In the middle... More

This museum opened december 2014 and is a must-visit for avation and/or militairy history enthousiasts. Plenty to see and plenty to do on the 6000 acres area. Not all of it is open to the public, but most of it is. Unfortunately it was not allowed to take the passengers on my touringcar/coach for a ride over the premises, only... More

Lots of military history, focussed on that of the netherlands. Fun to see all those vehicles lined up with their descriptions. Worth a visit.

Well worth the money, It's an excellent large museum with planes, tanks and lots of interactivity set on an old USAF base... The new watchtower on top of the museum is free entrance if you take the right (not left) line in front of the museum.

Nice place to go to, also for the kids. They can download a app on there smartphone, and go on there own mission thru the museum. They have a lot of old and recent vehicles and planes. Good accessible place, lots of parking places.
