Contemplation

Beautiful spot beside the road, it was interdicted because of an accident, but is still possible to go there. It provides a nice overview of the area.

It is amazing to think that you are at the center of South America continent. Very beautiful and peaceful. Amazing view of two different landscapes

Right in the middle of the South America, you'll enjoy a wonderful view, the place is amazing for meditation, picnic, playing guitar and etc. But be careful with cliffs.

An unremarkable squat, concrete plaque may mark the geographic centre of South America, but this is the real place to be. There are great views towards Cuiaba and the sunset was quite spectacular.

Our guide took us to the mirante, or overlook, so we could get a larger picture of the Brazilian savannah. It's not jaw-dropping, but we appreciated the chance to look out for miles, watching the fog roll in and out. We also saw green and red macaws flying low across the valley. The people-watching is great, too. There's a small,... More

Nice view but nothing special. it is just next to the big road, so short stop if you`re driving by and thats it. The center is marked with one stone. There are better viewpoints in that area.

Sweeping view of the low lands of Cuiaba but really nothing amazing. Go if you are in the area but you will only spend 5 10 minutes there and will get bored.

It's a nice viewpoint with some small paths that lead you closer to the edge of the cliff (little scary with no railings). You can get a nice look at the forest and can even see the city in the distance. There are signs pointing you in the right direction once you head East out of town but there is... More

Do not underestimate this mountain view point. It is one of the few places still with free access in the area. You must go 7 kms past the town on highway 251 heading east. The entrance is lacking signs (like everything else), so keep your eyes open for a right entrance with a blue abandoned guard post. Drive 200 meters... More

This place might be in one of my top 5 places in the world to see. I was here the first time when I was 19 years old, and this is just breathtaking. Amazing landscapes, and for those who enjoyed coconut juice you often have people selling it just nearby. Anyone who travels to this part of Brazil has to go... More
