Probably a generic problem in Bali - but to much plastic and waste comming from the sea. So we did not go swimming from the Beach directly

You may come here with the dreamy intention of pursuing dolphin pods under a blue sky. The fact is, it's a grotty little beach littered with dog poo and weirdos trying to sell you things, and you may not even get to see a dolphin.

Loads of cheap restaurants that served us well. Less tourists than other beaches which was great! Very flat and calm water, would definitely recommend the dolphin "HUNT" as I like to call it. Snorkelling was great too!

It kills me to read such negative reviews of Lovina, written by people whose own countries have such a hypocritical approach to waste. Sure, there are plastic bags a many. And sure they have an immediate impact on the senses of people accustomed to recycling waste etc. But it strikes me that its the same countries that sell coal to... More

Very dissapointed on Lovina Beach, very very dirty, we walked and walked from east to west and back hoping we would find something that would change or minds.. Nothing. I seriously don't see why anyone would come to Lovina when there's so many other options in Bali

The waters off Lovina are really calm compared to the other parts of Bali, and it made for a wonderful contrast to the surf off the beaches in the south. The dolphin trip was excellent, due in no small part to the wonderful sunrise we saw, and the many dolphins (solo ones, as well as in groups of 3 to... More

After spending a couple weeks in North Sulawesi and the south of Bali this was like coming home to an empty store. There was not much going on at the beach, there weren't a lot of of stores or activities, and everybody was selling the same thing, which is watching dolphins. With the dolphins being the only thing to do... More

As written on the title itself. Long steady calm boat rides to the open sea early in the morning at 5.30am is an awkwardly great start to your not so average morning. Spent that quality time looking at the sun rise with my girlfriend, is an experience we won't forget, with the mirror like waters, clear and pure. You just... More

Went for a wedding here, calm beautiful beaches with plenty of dolphins here, dolphin tours available for a hour because they are so near to the beach. You can always watch the fisherman in the morning using nets, while having your first coffee.
