Beach in lovina is nothing really special, just a regular beach bith dark sand and fishermans boats around. If you're not interested in seeing the dolphins there are better and also quiet spots to lay down on the beach in bali.

Beaches in Bali are very dirty when the monsoon rains come. Not only is the runoff from the topsoil bad but all the rubbish strewn everywhere ends up floating in the water or washed up on the shore. However, the people here are lovely, friendly & helpful and there are many good value places to stay & eat?

Unappealing dark grey sand with a tide line of rubbish and plastic washed in from the ocean, loads of plastic bottles bobbing about in the water. A line of boats blocking access to the sea. No sign of any chairs or sun beds if you did risk sitting on the beach. A line of 2nd rate hotels whose hey day... More

A must visit for dolphin lovers. An amazing place to spot dolphins naturally when you are sited in your boat. Lovina being located on north of Bali is usually not visited by tourists who are just stationed in south bali at kuta/seminyak. To take the boat ride for dolphins you need to reach the lovina beach by 5.30 in the... More

Lovina is such a slow down from Seminyak. We head there for a breather. The drive up is always enjoyable ad we find new ways to travel. The pace in Lovina is like Bali was 20 years ago.

Sadly the ocean is full of rubbish and the sand is littered. Staff around the resorts and hotels are often cleaning the shore. It is not a place to swim.

I am so pleased we made the 3 hour trek to the beautiful North side of Bali. As this was our first visit to Lovina we weren't sure what to expect but Lovina Beach is Truly Beautiful with a sense of calm that felt like being on a remote island where everyone and everything is so relaxed. I recommend that... More
