this is an amazing place to go snorkeling and enjoy the quiet side of Bali away from Kuta. Lovina is a simple town, with a focus that seems to be solely on the diving in the area. This makes for a nice quiet scene, without feeling like you are at a bad spring break party.

What Bali was 25 years ago, laid back. Fishing boats near the beach, massages on offer, young people hawking handicrafts, not too intrusive if you keep smiling.

The sunset is really beautiful! The see is o.k.. Unfortunately, the beaches are black. All in all, a good beach to idle your time away. Do not expect the Bounty beaches.

Third time of going dolphin watching/ chasing and this time marred by in excess of 50 boats some of which are now coming from hotels and bays other than Kalibukbuk. These boats seem to drive straight at the dolphins and keep their engines at max the whole time. We booked Cobra from Kalibukbuk at the 60 , 000 rp organisation... More

A pleasant wide beach, easy for walking but watch where you step. Some fabulous small warungs dotted along the beach and some hotels. One of which is quite stunning The Lovina with grassed beach area, bar and small kitchen on the beach. At least black sand is a lot better than some of the stoney beaches found in the exclusive... We (me, my wife and 3 kids 2, 3 & 5 years old) the 6 am boat for dolphin watching. It was very nice and the sun rise view from the sea was wonderful. My kids enjoyed the whole experience and they were excited for seeing the dolphins swimming in the sea few times (7 or 8 times) and each... More

Even so much boat on this hunting but everybody satisfied, the dolphin show up a lot and I will never forgetting this experience whole of my life.

Many people take the 6am dolphin tour for 60k idr and many, many boats, but you can also take a 8am private tour for 100k idr per person and there will be 5 boats only. Yes, we had to travel a bit further, and yes the waves may have a bit higher, but we did see the dolphins and they... More

Good for families with kids, the ocean here is not as wild as in the southern coast. Kids will love seeing the dolphins early morning or snorkeling. Safe and clean place.
