If you have been to Sounth of Thailand, this is below average Maybe we went in the wrong season but the beach was dirty, had to pay some sort of fee when entered the square with dolphin statue, no one swam in the sea, the water was not inviting either

Worth the 3 hour drive to see this idyllic area, the beaches are beautiful but the dolphin viewing trips, be careful, we chased Dolphins for 2 hours, got wet through including cameras and phones and saw a couple of Dolphins jump out of the water while 50 boat loads of tourists chased them. I felt sorry for the dolphins. Dolphin... More

On the North Bali tour, one can skip going to this place to save on time and effort. The beach is not spectacular and there are vendors offering wares.

Beautiful and absolutely amazing when the sunsets and everyone from many different nationalities mix with locals to watch the sun go down.

Not a beach that one goes to, to just lay around. Black sand due to the volcanic area which is interesting, but no where you would think about swimming as such. Local kids play in the shallows and fishermen wade out to their waists at evening time, but most of the beach is used up by the local boats dragged... More

I went here to see the dolphins, and boy they were a lot of dolphins that morning. I was so lucky to see them very close by the boat. You might try to book the trip at 7 or 8 in the morning if you want to avoid all crowd. Usually they start early before 6, because you can also... More

Feel the beauty of nature, sunshine and the breezing air on your face, while you enjoy seeing the dolphins teaching the smaller dolphins to jump. As what the fisherman says that the dolphins want to stay on that area as it's much warm... With more school of fish for food:) what is more amazing, dolphins were not even afraid of... More

Nice beach, but lots of sellers trying to sell you their wares. We liked the relaxed atmosphere down the Main Street

went to Lovina to watch dolphins. Dolphins were abundance, flipping. All were so excited watching dolphins. Think dolphins think Lovina. worth the trip on a 2.5hrs drive from Seminyak and had to leave the villa at 3am. And to end the dolphin trip, had a wonderful breakfast of homemade 'Nasi Lemak' Malaysian style with black coffee.

Lovina beach is a narrow black sand beach. It does not have an abundance of Watersport activities like other beach down south, nor does it have a surf break. It's most famous for the dolphin watching. It's good for a paddle in a kayak or stroll along the waterfront.
