Had a great experience from the outset at Shean's. Maggie was incredibly good to us from the start - so much so that she gave up on eating her afternoon tea to sort us out when we showed up early! At the end, Maggie was there to greet us and make sure that we had enjoyed the walk around the... More

Coffee and scones with the McKinley family, before climbing the hills, to view breathtaking scenery, and watch a manual peat cutting operation in person. Smell that beautiful aroma of burning peat, life blood of Irish everywhere in the north. Staff was fantastic as 46 Seniors gamely attempted that climb to view history.

Great day had by my friend and I. Took the 90 min hack lead by Kevin and not a road in sight. Great staff, great views, great horses catering for every level. Definitely recommend and will most certainly be back! Well done Sheans!!!!

Took My nephews and friends. The owners were great with us all as most of us visiting today had no experience. They gave us clear instructions and gave us confidence. Highly recommend to everyone. My nephews want to go back tomorrow. A well run business

When I arrived I was a little nervous and not sure what to expect, but I was made to feel very welcome and at ease straight away. I rode with the Sunday group on JR which was a very social event, lots of fun but at no time did it feel unsafe. Tea and scones afterwards. I enjoyed it so... More

From the first time I emailed to book all the way through the ride the customer service was incredible. I signed up for a 90 minute hack (they do shorter less intense rides for novice riders) and couldn't have had a better time. We started out with 6 people and warmed up in the arena to get the horses ready... More

I was on a main road on a horse when it got spooked and bolted. I did not have enough experience to pull the horse up and stop it.That was 12 years ago,and now i have had several lessons and feel my confidence being restored once again. For the first time i am getting professional tutation, and i am totally... More

We had a fabulous morning at Shean's Horse Farm on 28th March. When we arrived Danny, Maggie & Kevin were very welcoming and reassuring. Although my wife and 13 year old daughter are experienced riders, I am really quite nervous around horses. The staff are very experienced and soon arranged for suitable well behaved horses. Safety was evidently taken very... More

Kevin our guide was so much fun - they made sure we were okay and doing well. We trotted and cantered and it was amazing. It is worth every penny. My husband was with me and he just loved this ride. Great job Shean's keep up the good work.
