Many try to drive on the beach with their own cars. After all there seems to be about 8-10 kms of fun driving on a flat clean beach. But be careful because if you get stuck/stranded in the sand then the price is INR 15000/- (no bargaining). Thats the current price that the locals are going to demand from you... More

The beach is relatively peaceful at the same time having all the necessary items such as tea stalls, restaurants etc. Very relaxing atmosphere and perfect for people who are looking to unwind over the weekend.

Very recently I visited Mandarmoni with great expectations. Alas there is practically no Madarmoni left even now. The ruthless sea waves have played havoc leaving no beach at all . Almost all the banks have been eroded and all the constructions ( Including the hotels) are destined to become skeletons in near future.I came back with a heavy heart.

the drive on the beach side in your own car is must try. Also, don't miss the water sports...itz awesome and cost it also not so high. The shops around sell everything but more than MRP, no use arguing. road to the rose valley resort too narrow with lot of speedbrakers.

We visited Bombay Beach Resort on 15th August 2014 for the first time. It is located on sea beach where our 3 days stay was really mesmerizing. The food, ambiance, service was just excellent. The view from the balcony was really eye-catching. The evening was spent in the beautiful lawn with fresh fried fish & coffee. The background music made... More

Very clean beach in comparison to other beaches like Digha. It was a serene experience and felt the sea even from the hotel room.
