Who doesn't want to see what its like gracefully floating through the waters, with no traffic, no planes, no people? take the experience and see it from the fish eye view. Lots of interactive displays and info, and the sights are amazing when a great white shark three times the size of you is just hovering above your head looking... More

This was a great day out with the family. The actual aquarium bit is unreal, you can stand on the belt and it will take you around the the underwater tunnel which is great and you can see so many different types of fish, sharks and a old turtle so much of the WA coast line. The kids loved it... More

We visited AQWA on father's day, our family of four plus Grandpa. The aquarium was busy but not unbearably so, however we were disappointed in how little time it took to get around all the exhibits. We were at the cafe in just over an hour after starting. As a Mum in charge of the stroller I was a little... More

A visit here shows you the wonderful variety of sea life along our coast of WA. It is very varied, as goes from the cool waters of the Southern Ocean to the warm waters of the northern coastline. Corals and the huge range of small, large, scary, beautiful, colourful, plain, striped, or spotted fish and sea mammals. The highlight has... More

A nice way to spend a few hours on a winters day in Australia. Very informative. Liked the flow of the layout. Very interesting petting pool. The staff will allow all ages to touch and feel the marine life. Quite expensive for the time spent here.

Aquarium of Western Australia (or AQWA) is an ok aquarium in itself. Its certainly very educational and being the nerd that I am I was pretty excited learning all about the local marine life and aquatic landscape. I loved the jelly fish and the exhibition on all the "dangerous" local wildlife (the blue ringed octopus is possibly the cutest deadliest... More

Great experience! Coming from Europe I learned A LOT about Australian marine life. From the glass tunnel you could see sharks, manta rays and turtles…very impressive! Also the touch pool is a very good idea. Highly recommended!

A great aquarium that is well laid out. I suggest a sunny day as some of it is outdoors, and if you can avoid weekends and school holidays it is very relaxing. Of course, it's good for the kids too, with a touch pool and outdoor activities.

We went to AQWA because our girls love marine life and they were not disappointed. There was a glass tunnel where you stepped onto a conveyor belt and went around in a circle through a huge marine area and could see fish from all angles. It took about 20mins. The manta rays looked great from underneath as did the the... More

This aquarium has a great range of animals on display and amazing live coral displays. The indoor/outdoor layout was great on the day we went. The touch pool was great and well designed so the creatures could stay out of reach if they need a break. Only down side was the price as I heard one couple complaining but I... More
