If you want to be taught the basics of champagne making and tasting, and want to spoil yourself with some excellent champagnes and food, you should definitely check out Agnès Corbon's vignoble. She gives a lively presentation about how champagne is made (whether in French or in excellent English), and you get the opportunity to test your smelling and tasting... More

Champagne Corbon – Avize - Our group of six spent a brilliant half day with Agnes Corbon, owner of Champagne Corbon in the village of Avize in the Côte des Blanc. Do yourselves a favour and get organised so that you visit Agnes very early in your itinerary. Agnes (in impeccable English and with great humour ) will guide you... More

What a delightful day we had at this Champagne house! Our tour was so personalized, informative, and enjoyable. It was like being in a champagne lesson with delicious champagne to enjoy at the end! Agnes was wonderful and so welcoming! I am so happy we can buy this champagne in the states! Thank you!

With so many champagne houses in the area, it was difficult to decide which ones to visit. In the end, my wife and I decided to visit Champagne Corbon for champagne education and Pommery for the caves. Champagne Corbon exceeded all of our expectations. Agnes was very friendly and her presentation very informative, especially compared to the oversized tour group... More

Agnes was the perfect host. We did the two hour class which included a great overview of how Champagne is made, the history of Champagne Corbon, a visit to the cellar, and an opportunity to taste three great wines. I would 100% recommend a visit to Corbon.

We visited Agnès Corbon for a tasting rather than take part in one of her courses. That said, despite having a pretty good knowledge of champagne and the array of processes we were still able to learn much from our short visit. Agnès is clearly a very articulate communicator with excellent English and a keen sense of humour. We would... More

I can't recommend Champagne Corbon enough. We booked the two hour introductory course and I really wasn't sure what to expect. Dragging along our two year old, my husband and I arrived and were greeted by Agnes. After setting our little one up with crayons (and being very relaxed about drawing on the tablecloth), Agnes explained all about the champagne... More

Three years ago I took friends who knew very little about champagne to Agnes Corbon's Aromes et Champagne exercise in scents of wine, and they learnt a lot, and had a wonderful time. A year later another group of more experienced wine lovers raved about the personal and informative experience. This year my wife and visited, and Agnes produced some... More

This was by far and away the highlight of our trip this week! We felt like we walked away with not only new knowledge of the passion and art that is wine and champagne making but as if we were getting to know some extended members of our own family. Agnes is personable. Her father is adorable and the champagne... More

We wanted to see the craftsmanship and passion that went (and still goes!) into the growing of the vines and the manipulation of Champagne and wanted to book "Arômes et Champagne". Although I speak French, my partner only speaks English, so I called in advance to make sure that there was a suitable time for us. Having done that, we... More
