A little pricey, but the kids loved it (age 7 & 11)! Definitely allow yourself a few hours to explore. Lots of interactive activities (was fun for the adults too!).

Not free entry with Copenhagen card, but great day out and the kids loved it. Mine aged 6&9 and had to drag them away in the end.

This place is full of fun stuff, both for adults and kids. They usually have a special exhibition, so check on their home page, or just be surprised. There's all sorts of experiments, science demonstrations etc. Kids can play there for hours!

This is how to do a hands-on science museum properly - other museums should take note. The exhibits are almost all interactive, and almost all were working, unlike so many similar places were there are more "out of order" signs than functioning equipment. Very well designed, sturdy and simple exhibits make a clear point. The highlight though is the live... More

I guess we visited the new temporary location, no Dinosaurs exhibit anymore but they had the winter olympics theme. Lots of interactive activities for kids and adults. All the activities had instructions came in english as well as Danish. We spent almost 4 hrs there and still had some activities that we didn't get to do. I would definitely recomend... More

Expensive but central location, so look up for the right new temporary adress for 2014. You may even go by boat to the Museum.

This place could use a serious over haul - the downstairs is shabby and worn (and smelly) - the upstairs is better but looks messy and unorganized. The upstairs have very high ceilings and makes the noise level deafening. Kids seemed to enjoy it, but seemed to view it more a place to chuck things around and ride on stuff... More

We have been to the Experimentarium as a family 3 times and we have all thoroughly enjoyed it each time. It is a very 'hands on' place and my kids (8 and 12) love the fact that they can touch/move things around and have fun. Each time we have been there, it has been for about 4 hours. There is... More

This is an indoor museum with many interactive exhibitions and is great for kids. This is a different museum where it is fun to be and fun to learn. There really are some fun things and some great kids lectures. Pretty expensive though.

We (wife and kids, 10yrs and 12 yrs) were disappointed. The exhibitions are poorly maintained. The dinosaur exhibition was probably the best, though it was the least interactive. If you are looking for a place that is indoors where your kids and run around - well then this is for you. I cannot see any other reason to visit. The... More
