I was taken here by my hosts who know I like climbing mountains! After a 90 minute drive here we were told that it takes about 2 hours to go up and then the same to return. Therefore we went for lunch beforehand. Private cars are not allowed up the mountain. You have to take an official bus which goes... More

We enjoyed our time in Taibai National Park, however, be aware that if you are a foreigner, you will be unable to reach the summit. Personally, I think it is a disgrace, at about 3300m (after they've charged you for everything that they possibly can)... all foreigners are turned back. They even have a sign - No foreigners allowed, Chinese... More
