Among the islands I've visited in Caramoan, this island has the finest sand beach line, and by far the cleanest. Haven't been to boracay so there's no point of comparing it with the latter. Its about 15-20mins boat ride from Paniman bay. There is a hidden lake behind rock formations on the MATUKAD island, one has to climb a steep... More

Caramoan Islands, also known as the Caramoan Peninsula, is a group of islands located in the province of Bicol, Camarinez Sur. It is the perfect island hopping get-away where you can do a lot of adventures like snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, limestone cliff / rock climbing, caving or just wading and swimming thru its fine white sand beaches. I went... More

Beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters and powder fine sand, although they are a bit far apart and require some time travelling by boat. Beautiful rock formations make for fantastic pictures. These islands are popular because many of the shows in the Survivor series are filmed here. So some of the islands are closed to the public sometimes. When we... More

This is one of the few islands that was part of the island hopping tour in Caramoan. It's very beautiful and could easily compare to the beautiful beach of boracay. The sand is a little less finer than bora's but nonetheless a great island to enjoy the beach, the sun and the sand. More

fine powdery sand that can rival that of bora's station one (if not better!) ok, i seriously think it's better (i compared my pics) .... i wish i could've spent the entire afternoon there instead of hopping to another less pretty island... and yes, the boat ride's pretty long but it's all worth it. :) More

Yes, it's true that this time of year, from February-August 2012, the Survivor Franchises (a lot of them) are taping in most of the islands, so no tourist is allowed on those chosen Islands. It took us 1 hour flight to Naga, 2 hours Van (land) ride, an 1 hour 1/2 to 2 hours of boat ride, and 1 hour... More

Ask your boatman to take you to the rock wall and scale it! Once you get on top, you'll see the secret lagoon! Gorgeous! More
