I visited in half term with my son, he enjoyed looking round at the birds but he LOVED the display. He absorbed so much information it was amazing - so much so that 2 weeks on he chose to do a project about it for school and wrote about every bird he saw (he's only 6 so that's pretty impressive!)... Bought a groupon voucher for £5 each adult. Nice range of winged creatures but didnt get to see any cheetah. Still, had a great time.

The animals are clearly well loved and looked after. But the visitor areas are a little run-down and the whole place is in need of renovation. I but if you're happy with a no-frills experience and just want enjoy the animals and the Great Outdoors then I thoroughly recommend a visit.

Went to Eagle Heights for an afternoon out on what turned out to be a sunny, if not chilly day. Good selection of birds and other animals and staff friendly. A lot to do, enjoy the birds, animals, play area for kids, talks (meerkat during our visit) and flying presentation in an arena that had wonderful views. Loved the closeness... More

I've been to Eagle Heights a number of times over the years as I live relatively nearby, and I have to say it endears itself to me. Its certainly not the most modern, well maintained site but the passion and interest of the staff outweigh those factors many-fold. The last visit I took my two sons aged 11 & 6,... More

We did the husky hike and it was great. We were in a group of 4, each had our own husky and the walk lasted over an hour through the countryside. The huskies were lovely and the handler very passionate and knowledgeable. The reason I haven't given 5 out of 5 is due to the rest of the centre being... More

A wonderful place to go, sat nav not recommended to the direct entrance. Sign posted when you are in the right location. Check out the website before going for the event times. A cheetah that runs free and a bird show that you would never expect to see in the UK. A wonderful selection of birds and other animals (wolves,tigers... More

Hi Many thanks for your kind words. The cheetahs have now moved to Eagle Heights Gambia which is a sister centre that we have set up. Boumani the cheetah that used to run over here in England is doing similar things but out in the Gambia. Eagle Heights has 24 Huskies up here as well! We are glad you enjoyed... More

we booked the afternoon tea with Santa for our three grandchildren. It was good value and the tea was lovely. A couple of problems though. The time spent meeting the owls and huskys dragged on too long with people that kept going back up even though they had had there turn, no consideration there. Also too many people were allowed... Thank you for your feedback. This was the first time that we have run Santa's Teaparty so was a bit of a learning curve for us as well. Next year, we will be limiting the numbers of adults attending. We hope to see you again soon! More

Took my girlfriend for a birthday present here. We had an 'Owl Experience' and it was a lot of fun. An hour of handling owls and learning about them was followed by a day at the sanctuary watching some birds in flight and meeting some huskies. Although not a huge zoo there are a number of different animals at the... More

My sister booked me and my girlfriend the husky sleigh buggy ride for my birthday today. Just got back and have to say it was amazing. The guys where really friendly and knew their stuff about the huskys, they let us help them unload the dogs and get them set up. All the dogs where so friendly and eager to... More
