The park was a little tired and needs a cash injection but that said the staff were really informative and passionate about what they do - we went for the owl handling as an experience day and we did think it would be one to one but it was doubled up with another two and the birds were loosing interest... Been to the eagle heights over 3 years. Once every year. It's a wonderful place to go with young children and those who love animals. It has a variety of birds some reptiles, huskies, salcata tortoises. Unfortunately no cheetahs anymore and the main zoo was closed to the public because of they were mistreated by the public and someone hurt... More

My 9 year old grandson loves animals, especially amphibians and dogs, so this outing suited him perfectly with the added attraction of owls & eagles on display and being flown. There is also an outdoor play area - very popular when boredom had set in - and an ok café to satisfy inner beings even if it offends the healthy... More

Visited Eagle Heights and was very disappointed. The place was looking very tired and unkept. We arrived at 2pm and when asking when the next bird display would be we were told the only one was at 12 - the leaflet says "shows throughout the day" Was probably expecting to be there for a couple of hours, we were done... Not one to be put off by a bit of grim weather, my partner and I visited Eagle Heights (in the rain) on Friday 23rd May 2014. The centre itself is off the beaten track, so be sure to actually follow your sat-nav! You have to travel through a couple of lovely little villagey-types on the way too, which is... More
