A wonderful place to go, sat nav not recommended to the direct entrance. Sign posted when you are in the right location. Check out the website before going for the event times. A cheetah that runs free and a bird show that you would never expect to see in the UK. A wonderful selection of birds and other animals (wolves,tigers... More

we booked the afternoon tea with Santa for our three grandchildren. It was good value and the tea was lovely. A couple of problems though. The time spent meeting the owls and huskys dragged on too long with people that kept going back up even though they had had there turn, no consideration there. Also too many people were allowed... Thank you for your feedback. This was the first time that we have run Santa's Teaparty so was a bit of a learning curve for us as well. Next year, we will be limiting the numbers of adults attending. We hope to see you again soon! More

Took my girlfriend for a birthday present here. We had an 'Owl Experience' and it was a lot of fun. An hour of handling owls and learning about them was followed by a day at the sanctuary watching some birds in flight and meeting some huskies. Although not a huge zoo there are a number of different animals at the... More

My sister booked me and my girlfriend the husky sleigh buggy ride for my birthday today. Just got back and have to say it was amazing. The guys where really friendly and knew their stuff about the huskys, they let us help them unload the dogs and get them set up. All the dogs where so friendly and eager to... More

The meerkat visit and bird show accompanied seeing all the magnificent animals perfectly and with the refreshments and gifts available to purchase this day out is an incredible experience. It is very pleasing to see these animals kept in such nice conditions and the birds allowed to fly freely is very good. These animals deserve a nice life!

We - the adults had a good day and so did our 1+yr old. It's not large but there is a lot to see and the demonstrations are great. Well worth a visit. We shall be going back next spring.

For my wife's Birthday I booked us on a Husky Experience at Eagle Heights. Unfortunately this had to be cancelled due to a problem with the sleigh that occurred that morning. We received a phone call saying this and as we had travelled up the night before we were given free entry to Eagle Heights and a complimentary drink. We... More

It is rather small for the money but the upkeep of the birds must be expensive. The demonstration of flying birds is very good for the children to see.

What a brilliant day we had at eagle heights, we arrived when it opened and left when it closed, we watched all the displays, the flying displays were brilliant, they eagles flew over our heads, one was not happy and didn't want to work but was so funny seeing her ignoring the keeper, one pair flew off and the keepers... Website completely misleading, how and why is this a sanctuary, the enclosures are in need of desperate repair, the animals lack enrichment, completely gobsmacked that the local authority haven't cracked down on this dismal excuse of a sanctuary. A real shame as 5 years ago I would have recommended this venue to all, what has happened to eagle heights, very... More
