I had one day in Whitehorse and although the usual minimum number for the 2 hour tour is two people, Pascal came to collect me and Jeff gave me a great tour, including spending time with the dogs, taking some of them for a walk to the river, and a great background to the 2 annual winter dog sled races.... We planned a 2 hour tour at Muktuk to meet the dogs while in Whitehorse. We didn't know anything about Muktuk Adventures. Being dog lovers we really wanted to meet the dogs. It was no problem finding it from Whitehorse, not a long drive. They were very welcoming and it was so cute to drive in and have all the... More

We stayed at Muktuk 4 days this July 2015. We stayed in a private cabin. It was exciting to be around so many dogs. Walking the dogs, canoeing too. We took Justin on our canoeing adventure.. We paddled the Yukon river and Miles Canyon. A great deal and a must for anyone interested in paddling in the Yukon. The staff... More

A truly wonderful place for dog lovers. We did a two hour tour and got to spend time petting (and hugging 😊) as many of the dogs as we could. The guide then took us on a short walk with five of the dogs down to the water (no snow so obviously no sledding), where the dogs played fetch the... More

We had a wonderful day there. For people that love dogs this is a great place to see, interact and learn about huskies and mushing. If you go, get a hug from Rimski, the happiest dog on the planet. Our lunch was great and the people that work there are even better. Stay for lunch and watch the daily visit... More

We just drove in to see the dogs on top of their kennels. Enjoyed the drive along through the bush to get there. We did not want to spend the money on an expensive meal. We have a friend who celebrated a 9 year olds birthday. They found the sledding real fun. We had done sledding in Seward, Alaska so... More

We went dog sledding as a family of four lat year, with 18 and 10 year old daughters. We were all dog lovers but this was the first time dog sledding. The trip exceeded all our expectations. The staff at Muktuk were all friendly, professional and fun. The dogs were all friendly. The quality of service.and accommodation of our requests... More
