This is such a great place to stay; we were there for one night but could have stayed for much longer. The rooms are good, feel very homely, and all the staff are great. The dogs are the priority, of course, so the breakfast is very much help-yourself. But the truly great thing is the hands-on contact you can have... More

I have always wanted to go dog sledding. Unfortunately we were only able to travel to Canada in October so there was not enough snow to sled. After searching high and low we came across Muktuk who offer an autumn option behind an ATV. It was a fantastic way to experience a winter activity without any snow! The walk with... More

This place is too fun! Seeing all of the sled dogs, getting to play with them, and learning all about them is just a blast! You can wander the yard and pet every single dog, and if there's puppies, you can play with them too! If you're a dog lover this place is a must go. You can even go... More

I loved my dog sled experience. I drove a team of 5 dogs. It was amazing. I would do it again! I didn't know what to expect when i started, but soon figured out what I needed to do. Exciting time!

Brilliant and a great experience. The four of us are over 60 and you are not too young to do it. Fun all the way. An experience we would like to do again. The staff were great and not forgetting the dogs they were too but never let go of them.1

Having struck out at EVERY SINGLE hotel in Whitehorse, we decided to head out of town around 11:00 p.m. (still light in late May) in hopes of finding something in the next town (quite a distance away - our cell phone service was on the decline, too). Not far out of Whitehorse, we saw a sign for Muktuk Adventures (also... More

What a great afternoon - I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon out on the frozen Takhini River driving my team of 5 amazing dogs!! It was so much fun and whilst these are working dogs they really do seem to love what they do - they are well looked after and the guides are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend... More

I wasn't expecting the Dog sledding to be as fun as it was. At first I was nervous about controlling the dogs myself but it turned out easy everything was explained well! Definitely give it a try. Even if you don't think you'll enjoy the ride the views you get are totally worth it!

Took a german visitor out to Muktuk for him to experience dog sledding. When I picked him up he had a gigantic smile on his face. The guides were VERY accommodating and all the staff were gracious and very kind. Really enjoyed my time there even though I was not the one on the tour. THANK YOU!
