Never ever thought about riding a dogsled by myself before I did it yesterday. The tour is full of fun. The dogs are so nice that they were barking and competing for the chances to pull us. The guides let us know a lot about the dogs and shot some pictures for us and emailed me later. The photos esp.... More

A totally unique experience for us and great fun mushing along a frozen river. Very warm clothing is provided; the staff are super friendly and professional, basic tuition is provided, the dogs are a joy and Muntuk staff accept that many of their customers are total novices. Our only thought is the paperwork you quickly sign with hardly a glance... More

I can honestly say that this was one of the best days of my holiday. Had a fabulous time driving my own sled. The dogs were great & the people friendly and their first priority is the dogs. Anyone thinking of doing this - go and do it & if you're in the Yukon go to Muktuk Adventures. They were... More

We had a great experience learning to drive sleddogs. The views are fantastic and Frank Turner is a real host who likes to welcome people and share experiences. The dogs are very friendly and ready to ride.

What's not to love about this? All the dogs are friendly, Frank and his staff are terrific, they genuinely love their jobs and the animals in their care. Everyone got a chance to drive, I declined because of arthritis, but they bundled me up in the sled and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride along the frozen river and getting to... More

This was the highlight of my short, "first" Yukon visit! I went in the third week of October in what may be considered an "off-season" for sled dogs but there was always something to do, something going on! After going on a dry-sled tour with a team of 12 dogs (in training for a busy winter season), I got hang... More
