My boyfriend and I were in Whitehorse for only two nights and the one full day we had there we spent on an artic range adventure - day tour! It was more then we could have hoped for! We got our own guide named moto who was from Japan and he was brilliant! He was so friendly and was a... More

Day tours were fantastic and the aurora experience was excellent - although the aurora was not out on each night, there were alternatives to keep us occupied. Hot Springs, wildlife tour and dogsledding are all highly recommended. Only slight downer was the accommodation, which was a little rough around the edges, but for everything else, it was magnificent.

We had a great and amazing time in Whitehorse/Yukon. Never seen such impressiv aurora borealis before. They have a really nice Aurora Centre there. Thanks to the very competent and friendly staff from the agency. They helped us with pretty good advices for our Trip. There are many things to do - they have excellent day tour opportunities. We had... More

They work with "guides" not prepared and experienced for tours. We had a car accident and they showed one day after the accident and mentioned it was not their fault even we were traveling with one person from their team.

We drove out of town for about 20 minutes and turned into a tiny laneway to get away from the lights of Whitehorse. The tidy yurt had tea, snacks and a cozy wood-burning stove to warm up when we weren't outside gaping at the magnificent sky. One great advantage was that the traditional yurt (there was also a teepee to... More

Going to Canada we wanted to accomplish many things. We really wanted to see the Aurora Borealis AKA the Northern Lights. I called multiple places but they were all booked. Finally I spoke to this place and they had reservations available. Since they got us those reservations we went ahead and booked everything through them to keep it simple (snowmobiling,... More

We did a seven day trip from Whitehorse by minibus flying back from Inuvik in March 2013. Our experience ranged from elements of excellent to disappointing. Highlights included a friendly guide, an interesting group (although almost all Aus/NZ), the visit to Tuktoyaktuk including tour of underground food storage and staying with a local family, and travelling on the Ice Road.... We wanted to go on a short winter vacation to either Skandinavia or Canada. After contacting some palces we found online we were impressed by the fast and friendly answers to our questions by their office. They helped us to build a really great tour program which included dog sledding (which my wife always wanted to try), snowmobiling, northern lights... More

Two reasons why we loved this tour with Arctic Range Adventure: The tour program was even better then we could have expected and the price was right. The great thing about our winter tour in the Yukon was the fact we could experience such unique things like dog sledding, snow shoeing and cross country skiing in such a short period... More

I can only recommend this company. We were looking for a place to see the Northern Lights and found Arctic Range Adventure online. They managed to create a unique program for us with great winter activities in the Yukon. We have only been once before to the far north and this time it exeeded our expectations. The service was great,... More
