It was excellent trip though we did not see the lights. We had lots of fun snowmobiling and dogsliding. Whitehorse is a beautiful place with lots of natural beauties. We will go back again.

We only attended the 1 Night Aurora Borealis Viewing Tour, but the experience was amazing! Our guide was super friendly and caring, she picked us up right on time and we head over to the Northern Lights viewing. The cabin we stayed at was very cozy and hot beverages + snacks were available at all times. This is definitely a... More

Northerntales was an excellent tour company for a range of activities, including dog sledding and aurora viewing in winter. The Northerntales team especially Tom and Wolf were excellent guides and provided interesting insight of the Whitehorse area - they were always interested in sharing their experiences and to answer any questions we had. We were fortunate to see the aurora... More

We had a wonderful (although a little chilly) stay in Whitehorse. It was really fast and easy to get a ride from the airport to our hotel, your host/driver was very friendly and gave a little tour during our drive (I also want to give a huge shout out to Air North, fantastic airline). The cabins to view the Aurora... More

The tour was hassle free. We were greeted at the airport and brought to the hotel. Our guides were very knowledgeable about the wilderness and the Northern Lights. The viewing area was excellent and there was a nice lodge to keep us warm. We did not book any other activities beforehand but Northern Tales helped to accommodate our last minute... More

We were so lucky to see an amazing display of the northern lights on our second night out. Even in the poor conditions the first night we enjoyed the bonfire, trying out snowshoes, the cozy heated tent cabins with snacks and hot drinks! The staff were ready to,take photos for everyone as soon as there was some activity in the... More

We were a group of 15 comprising 4 families travelling together. Our guides Thomas, Silka and Rika were excellent hosts, They were experienced, knowledgeable and more importantly attentive and accommodating. Working with a big group like ours can be difficult, especially with the wide range of ages in our families with different needs. But Northern Tales were able to make... More

My wife and I had a very memorable 3-day trip to the Yukon, thanks to Northern Tales. Their organization (from the airport pickup to the optional day tours) is impeccable and their guides are knowledgeable and friendly.

My trip to the Yukon was at the end of my holiday and what a way to finish it! The guides from this tour company are wonderful. Firstly I must say I did get to see the lights, it put tears in my eyes actually. The first night was cloudy so couldn't be seen, however we were looked after with... More
